  1. PS proximity to LA, OC, and SD is definitely a plus. Though I wonder how often PS residents actually make the trip. All those places are a short and easy flight from Vegas too.
  2. Seems like a good move to me. Keeps a supply of some AirBnBs available, but keeps prices lower and promotes better community for residential buyers. The non-transferability is a good idea though it sucks for those who bought higher hoping to create a business.
  3. That's a good point. I've heard a little bit about that. Buying a house only to have a land lease doesn't sound ideal. Maybe unless a home can be found cheaply enough that it's worth the trade-offs, especially with a lease ending in the very distant future. If I bought there I would probably only look at options where I fully own the land.
  4. I wasn't aware there was a Palm Springs FL. Looks like a pretty small town. I'd rather live in Miami.
  5. I agree about the ubiquitous gambling being a turn off. I don't gamble either. It gives off a sense of sadness/desperation in a way, seeing it everywhere. And yes the views are my favorite part of PS. The juxtaposition of palm trees and mountains, sometimes snow capped, is really striking. I guess it would be easier to make gay friends in PS? That's important especially when moving.
  6. If you had to choose between living in these two locations, which would you pick? Would your answer change if finances weren't a consideration? I enjoy both of these spots and suspect I'll move to one or the other at some point in the distant future. Curious what others think. Personally I think I would lean towards Vegas only because it doesn't empty out in the summer.

  8. ^ I wouldn't call tame muscle worship escorting, especially as musclvr describes it. I've though about using thebestflex in the past, so interested in this thread.
  9. That's surprising to me. I assume they were men? Do you know any of the details about how that came to happen? I would guess perhaps initiated by complaints from hotels on the Strip?
  10. One thing that makes me especially hesitant is that solicitation itself is technically illegal, regardless of what acts did or did not take place. And with the seeming expectation that things are arranged over text, that could be easy to prove. I realize there are apps and strategies to distance one's identity from texting but even then it would not be difficult to trace. I appreciate the comments -- so far, it seems no direct experiences and one alluded to possible past issue.
  11. The common refrain on this site is don't do this if you have a lot to lose, which seems smart, but personally I'd like to get a better sense of quantified risk. Has anyone actually experienced legal issues with hiring/meeting established providers on RM? Especially in blue state large cities (SF, LA, Vegas, NYC, Chicago)? There's really no true way to stay completely anonymous. Currently I'm not hiring because other than people saying the risk is very low, I really don't have a good sense of how low. I feel safer hiring compared to random hookups but the risk of my life being nearly ruined is impossible to ignore. I'm interested in hearing about any actual real life experiences on this point -- thanks in advance.
  12. Bump. Any recent info? There's a few threads asking about him, but no comments from anyone who's met with him, only the comment above about him being a no show. Seems to have plenty of 5 star ratings on RM.
