This is a major fact of life in New York City this time of year. I had the winter crud right before Christmas and for sure had to cancel on clients. I've had a number of cancellations already this cold/flu season. And it's especially challenging when it happens with new clients, when both parties are still working to establish trust. But showing up under the weather - for either party - is the actual violation of trust. We owe it to each other - client and provider - to only show up when we're 100%. We just have to remember that cold and flu season is real, and we need to give each other grace.
