Joining in the great gay migration from Twitter (sic) to Bluesky, and it seems to be going well. But my lady FSSW friends are definitely using the platform for community building in a way that we - their male counterparts - don’t seem to be. They’re creating ‘starter packs’ - groups of users with similar interests - to network to other FSSW’s and to clients. Are any of their male counterparts doing the same thing? Am I just not finding them? It seems like a potentially valuable tool for connecting. This may just be a cultural difference between how male and female sex workers connect with each other and with clients. BlueSky has Starter Packs. You can post a link to networks of people with shared interests. A lot of female sex workers are linking together on Bluesky via Starter Packs.
