Totally unprofessional and annoying. How can anyone expect a tip after an incident like that? And then to go so far as to contact you, hound you, for a tip.
Others may feel differently but I rarely tip. If the provider wants to make $250 - $300 an hour then charge $250 - $300 an hour. Don't charge $200 and then expect a $50 or $100 tip. If the service is truly exceptional, then I will give a tip showing my gratitude and appreciation for the great service. Otherwise I pay the agreed upon rate.

For me, it’s the opposite where the client asks, demands, or begs for more services and I have to say “Yes, I can do xyz for you, but during your next session, let’s discuss details afterward.”
Instead of using that opportunity to upsell or pressure the client, I deflect to keep the client’s best interests in mind. I would much rather the client have an excellent experience and want to return, or become a regular, than try to extract whatever I can in a single visit while they’re in a poor position to make considered decisions. The last thing I want to do to a client is pause the massage to discuss additional services and pricing. That is not a relaxing state of mind to shift to when you’re trying to enjoy a good massage.
Also, just from a practical standpoint, if the client wants more time and/or more services, I may not have availability in the case of a client being booked right afterwards, or there may be prep work required like heating stones beforehand. Or what they need requires notice to offer them good service.
Plus the client may be paying cash and may not be prepared to pay more at that time. Again, not something you want to think about or discuss during your massage.

PSA to clients: please keep in mind this is the most common reason your masseurs do not text you back “immediately”. You can’t have it both ways. Immediate responses 100% of the time AND their full, uninterrupted attention during the session? Usually it’s one or the other. Unless you happen to luck out on your timing, and it’s exactly that: luck.
I’m careful not to detract any attention from my client to my phone during their session. The good masseurs are focused on you for the whole session.
Have grace when inquiring and it takes a while to get a response. It’s not uncommon, for example, for me to have a two hour client appointment, plus time after (still not texting other clients) to wrap up, accept payment, walk the client out, chit chat, etc. There’s no clear agreed-upon standard regarding an acceptable amount of time to return texts. For me, it’s up to 2-3 hours, most often I respond much sooner than that and obviously within minutes if I’m otherwise free. Response times have been discussed on several other forums at length. I RARELY EVER hire someone for ONE hour of sex without meeting them once first. ( usually hire them for massage first to catch a vibe ).

Exactly, as hot as many of these guys are, 48 hours with the same unfamiliar guy might not be the best use of your time/money.  If I were in your position, I would probably hire three guys- one for day 1 (2 hours), one overnight (I assume that would be 12 hours… and the guy you would choose if you were to choose just one, and one for day 2 (2 hours).

I’ve met with Ericso recently but in LA area. Overall great experience. Photos are accurate but not as that level ripped as posted in RM. Massage was great, pretty decent and also interactive. Reason for this is: in the states at least, you simply can’t get use the word “deposit” on RentMen. They will delete it just like they deleted rates. I can’t say deposit in my ad, but I’ve been able to use other code that is quite clear on the deposit asked.
Also, I checked your search results: good idea however, that is only pulling up results within the area you are in, what city are you looking in? 
 
I’ll tell you why (I know that’s probably not what you want). Because one particular person went from stating an opinion, to then recommending others not to do something. That’s where the problem lies. Agree or disagree, but don’t start telling others not to do it and then further reference other guys who don’t. Other guys/escorts aren’t going to pay my bills or my hotel/gas if a client cancels. Period. So, nobody should talk about what other escorts do and don’t do. It’s not about that. 
 
In addition, each time it comes up…someone adds “but I won’t do it”. So then the discussion continues. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the back and forth. It takes a bit of communication to come to an understanding, and also getting to the nitty gritty behind why some do and don’t. I think this is probably the most in depth it’s ever gotten. 
 
I seen one escort in his ad claim, “I don’t accept pay app payments, the federal government is watching our transactions.” Which is not true. I don’t think it should have ever even been approved, but…once again people have their reasonings. I know many clients, even the non-deposit guys, will still use a pay app to settle up. 
Now, with everything said: it does make me question if I want to continue deposits…however at this particular point in my life, I’m not sure its the right timing to get rid of it, even with business being slow. Maybe at some point this year when I have a full time in-call back up and running, and most of my bookings are within 30 minutes away.
 
But even still: I service a sketchy market. Kansas City. The vast majority of guys offering to pay here: want us to host. And often on short notice. Even outcalls are same day requested, and it’s just too much trying to do those without deposits. Imagine how stupid and foolish it feels to leave a friend/family member/event to meet a client and he flakes? Do that a few times, over the course of a few months and you hopefully learn to do deposits. 
However it’s not just here, just about every city in the country has its flakes…persistent flakes who are dismissive, and then come around 6 months later like it never happened. Like wait: aren’t you the same MoFo who said “nevermind/you’ll pass/no I don’t do deposits” and now you’re trying to get with me again? If I’m such a scammer, or my rates are too high, why are you still trying to get in contact with me 🤔 
But as stated: I’ve been in the industry without deposits, longer than I have been with. The only difference is, I’m not going extra miles hoping the client is real; nor taking last minute or advanced bookings at a loss.
