Yes! If they’re going to scam people, the least they could do is pick some obscure, hard-to-find guy… not public figures you can identify in two clicks. Amateurs. 😅

Under the Federal Reserve's Regulation E (Electronic Fund Transfers, part of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act of 1978), banks must disclose their posting order in account agreements. However, there is no federal mandate for a "credits first" sequence. Banks can choose methods like chronological order, low-to-high, or high-to-low, as long as they're transparent. A few states like California via the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, have rules limiting unfair practices, but nothing nationwide requires credits before debits. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau finalized a rule in late 2024 to cap most overdraft fees at $5 (effective October 1, 2025), treating them as loans with stricter disclosures. However, this was repealed by Congress in March 2025 under the Congressional Review Act. As of now, standard fees, usually $35, remain but posting order is still unregulated federally beyond disclosures.

I have never requested a provider to help me move a dead body. Instead, I'll find one who hosts, and then deal with it later once Mother gets home.

Sure, shit happens in any business. But with any business, leads need to be qualified. A bad actor can waste so much time, that that hourly rate you just mentioned would skyrocket if there wasn't SOME way of weeding out the abusers. That's where Ubers and small deposits come in. Beyond that, how can we really tell the scammers from the real clients? I'm not sure clients on this forum really comprehend the scale of the fake clients. It's like 40%-60% of all the incoming messages I get. Imagine how high the 'factored in rate' for LEGIT clients would have to be if 40% of messages were allowed to play out all their antics.

If an escort changes the rules after we've agreed on something, I'm done.
And if a client changes the rules after they've agreed on something, I hope the provider is done as well.
Driving distance is irrelevant.

I wasn't gonna ask to have the review removed because they know where I live! It's perfectly fine if you don't believe me and the others telling you it has happened, it does seem, idk, odd that we would all be in cahoots to lie about this., but I guess you know every provider that exists and that none would be so coked up their mind to demand and be aggressive about it. It's OK.

Funny how you didn't address SavantSav pointing out that other people here corroborated the experience you called BS on (cause you're wrong). You're trying way too hard to assert your experiences as the norm that everyone else here experiences too, while also being sassy about it, and it's making you look silly. And also like SavantSav said, not everyone who PNPs lists that on their RM profiles. Your suggestion there is a good one but it's not a guarantee or something anyone can have true control over because people sometimes lie or omit that information.

To each their own. I totally agree they’re unhealthy and bad for you, basically a heart attack wrapped in paper, but to me, they’re still the best tasting ones out of the fast food options in the US. I guess my palate isn’t quite as exquisite and refined as yours. 😁

The argument that seeking a professional service, such as hiring a clown or meeting a "dreamy guy," requires agreeing to the provider’s terms, including a deposit, oversimplifies the dynamics of professional engagements and unfairly prioritizes the provider’s interests.
The claim that this is solely a "professional service" and not a relationship dismisses the mutual respect inherent in any professional interaction. Even in service based engagements, both parties, client and provider, have valid needs. My concern with deposits is that they solely benefit the provider and offer no protection to the client. A deposit secures the provider’s time but leaves the client vulnerable if the provider cancels, underperforms, or fails to deliver as promised. Additionally, there’s a privacy risk and the possibility of creating a paper trail that could come back to bite you later. The assertion that deposits are standard, like for a clown, ignores that most providers do not require them. Comparing a provider to a clown and arguing they deserve the same respect overlooks that respect is mutual. A clown’s deposit is part of a structured agreement, often backed by contracts or booking platforms, ensuring accountability. In contrast, a vague demand for $100 to “hold a spot” lacks transparency and accountability. Respect is earned through clear communication and fair terms, not blind compliance with one party’s demands.
While providers can set terms, clients are not obligated to accept them unquestioningly. A professional service should involve negotiation and transparency, ensuring both parties’ needs are met. Deposits may be reasonable in some very specific cases but since most providers operate without requiring one, clients should feel empowered to seek those who prioritize mutual trust over rigid demands.

I have zero reasons to lie about this. I wouldn’t have posted. You may not do it or think it’s kitsch but there are providers out there that have SERIOUS issues with aggression. In a decade of hiring it has happened to me twice that they ask for a 5 star review at the end and asked to see it before publishing it and in both times they asked for it so aggressively that I had fears they would get aggressive if I didn’t even after saying “yea I’ll do it later” “no, now before I go”. This particular one I remember he was COKED out of his mind (and he had issues performing and keeping it hard because of that) so I did it in front of him to appease him and not put myself in danger.
There’s already other clients here telling you it has happened to them too. Do you know every provider? If you believe me, great, if you don’t, well, it doesn’t change what happened to me.

While it’s true that plenty of clients skim ads and waste providers’ time with questions like “Can you host?” even when the answer is clearly stated, the frustration definitely goes both ways. Providers can be just as guilty, many ignore messages completely, don’t bother to read client profiles with key info like preferences or boundaries or reply with vague copy-paste responses that barely address what was asked. This kind of mutual negligence isn’t unique to this industry, it happens everywhere.
Here’s a typical scenario I’ve run into way too often. When I reach out to a provider for the first time, usually when they’re listed as “available” on the site, my message includes four simple questions: rates, whether they’re comfortable with my expectations for the session, their availability on a given date and, if they host, a general idea of their location.
What happens next? I might get partial answers to one or two questions usually a day or two later. So I follow up with the remaining questions. If another couple of days go by without a clear response, I move on. From their perspective, I’m now a “time waster” because I texted twice and didn’t book. From mine, they’re the time waster because I spent days just trying to get basic information. So… who’s really in the wrong here?
