Yes! The factor that makes it most difficult for me to hire is a lack of free time- I might actually have some free time on Monday or Tuesday, but… not so soon after Pride 😬

Definitely #1. Neg/on PReP and Poz/Undetectable are two completely different things. Yes, we are taking our chances either way, but I would rather be in the situation with the correct knowledge so I can make a decision based on what I am comfortable with.

Well it would be nice if the provider (or anyone) would be honest about their status and what they are doing to manage their health, if they are on Prep, etc but it is our responsibility to decide if the risk is worth it and take appropriate precautions.   This is not just for HIV but also for any STI.

I'd choose response number 1.  As far as I know, it is possible for providers to just not include this information in their ads so if they don't want to disclose their status honestly then they should just omit it entirely. 

I always avoid hiring during Pride. I either do it the week before or wait 1-2 weeks after. Way too much going on, being exchanged, shared etc. 

It’s not an impolite ask… just say “please”! That said, it might help if in the moment you suggest he quickly clean himself (if feasible)- it’s entirely possible he DID clean up before he left and was messy by the time he arrived. Shit [literally] happens!

I just finished an hour with Apoloman at his hotel in San Francisco. What follows is an unnecessarily long and detailed thought dump.
Short version: He is beautiful, fun, and great in bed. One of the top five providers I have hired in my 25+ years of hiring (out of 150+ providers).

And who am I kidding, the possibility of him being real was too much of an incentive for my heads and heart. My guard was up the whole way over to his hotel, but evaporated within 2 minutes. What Apolo did to Chancelot is not ok, and so far, Apolo has treated me with kindness.

Why the fuck did you write all this? I think it is because I was so ready to believe he was fake or mean or disappointing.
