Rent Men-Question On Hidden Reviews

Has anyone figured out a no cost method to see the hidden reviews now that Hide Me doesn't work?

Hideme still works, but.....

Use Google Chrome (and others besides Firefox??) browser, make sure the reviews page URL is in the rentmen.eu format, click thru the age verification pop-up a few times if necessary. Country choice evidently not important anymore.

downloading an app or "free" version isn't necessary. Scroll down to the "on the fly" box.

I think hide me still works on the computer the last time I checked, but not on my phone.

That may be the problem.  I use my phone. I don't have a computer available. Hmm-I have a cheap Onn tablet. I wonder if it would work on that.

Doesn't work for me on my computer, whatever the browser.  Can't get rid of the pop-up no matter how many times I click it.

are the review URLs you're entering in the "on the fly" box in the "rentmen.eu" format?.......you of all forum members should get this to work!!.......

What happens with me is you put the URL in the Hide Me box, click on it, and up pops a fuzzy torso picture of the opening RM site. You click on it to open the page. The reviews appear momentarily. Then "flash" out. And I get that small blue square of an expired link.

What has worked for me is to then zoom out until you see the RentMen.eu age verification at the bottom of the screen, and then click it.

This unfortunately didn't work for me. My phone screen wouldn't zoom out enough to see the age verification.

Wait so RM isn’t letting you see our reviews unless you pay!?  I guess I will have to screenshot my reviews and post them on my personal website then!? RM already gets so much $$ off of us workers they really need to stop squeezing our clients like this !?

No, RM isn't charging anyone to see the reviews. RM doesn't allow people in the US to read the text in reviews at all (anyone can see the 1-5 scale ratings). To do that from the US you need to use a VPN to hide your location from RM's servers. The VPN allows you to simulate being somewhere other than where you are in the US, in this sort of case in a country from where you can read the review texts, with the Netherlands and Germany being the ones that are most frequently discussed here. The OP was asking if anyone can advise him of a free VPN he could use.

Yes, I was going to mention how you “zoom” in/out depends on what device you’re using, what browser, etc. Google how to do it for your device/browser and you’ll find an answer.

That said, zooming out didn’t solve the issue for me (iPad/Safari/Chrome).

There’s a way of doing it on my iPhone that is not user friendly but works- I can’t really explain but I’ll see if I can take a screenshot video later.

If your only goal is to read the reviews, you can simply use Chrome with the free VPNLY extension, which should give you access without much hassle.

I’ll try to describe how I zoom out on the proxy me website on my iPhone…

-On the left side of the browser (where it says the website url), there is a small symbol that looks like a computer- click on that.

-After you click on that, you should see two capital As- click on the smaller one to the left until it stops zooming out.

-Turn your phone horizontally.

-Click on the red RentMen.eu symbol on the bottom left, and you should be able to read the reviews!

Do you have a mac or pc? I have a pc and it works. Maybe it doesn’t work with Mac products.
