Several years ago, a provider was inexplicably nasty with me from the moment I walked into his hotel room, and on top of that entered me into Mr Number along with a handful of falsehoods. Lucky for me, I have a reputation with providers as a man of integrity and since I didn’t have the opportunity to refute that douchebag’s claims, two of my guys jumped all over that report with a glowing endorsement of me. I haven’t had a single problem since then. 

This guy clearly has issues. He does look great in person and we actually had a fun session (though he started it by complaining about all the “broke old men” who tried to talk to him at the gym, and in retrospect this should have provided a good insight into his personality) and I gave him a substantial tip. Thereafter we had a bizarre series of text exchanges in which he tried to hustle me into sponsoring his trip to Brazil (I had casually mentioned that I had an upcoming business trip to San Paulo, and if we were there at the same time we should meet up) and when I resisted he gratuitously insulted me, saying I was poor and cheap and that no younger guy would be interested in traveling with me anyway if I wasn’t paying them a lot of money.  He also went into a rant about US politics. I discovered later that he left a nasty comment about me on Mr Number. I write this only to suggest that if you’re thinking about hiring him you might not want to engage him in regard to anything other than what you hired him for at the moment. Also be aware that he is 10 years (maybe more) older than the stated age on his ad — though as I said he still looks great.

This is such a weird flex. Are you trying to impress us by inferring you're well off, you can throw an extra $150 at a provider who lets you pound him? Or that you're so magnanimous that you're willing to pay people who actually want to fuck you? Do you have a tiered system, like $50 head, $100 for anal? I'm so curious 
I don't know why this needs to keep being repeated, but some of us hire almost exclusively for convenience. So if some guy I'm already paying to arouse me or get me off wants to fuck me, why am I paying extra? I didn't even request it.

I don’t think it’s this black and white. Sometimes you need a conversation, getting questions answered, feeling the vibe can be helpful.  Guys engage these professionals for different reasons. Some just care about aesthetics which makes picking from the profiles easy. Some want the vibe and some are inexperienced. Regardless, I do respect what you’re saying. Being an adult and telling both of them that you’re making up your mind based on these attributes lets them manage their expectations as well and is just the truth. It is unfair to play with someone’s livelihood, so I agree with that. But I don’t think chatting with them is wrong either. Just be transparent that you’re doing it.

You clearly need education, but don’t want it.  The fact this guy put FTM in his profile name is a clear request for acknowledgment and respect of his male identity.  Not sure your fetishized sexual encounters was the best reference for your vast knowledge base of gender identity, but it does help to clarify that this was intentional transphobic behavior that really should be addressed.

For a massage, I always notice and appreciate but don't always receive: 
Deep massage on the bottoms of my feet

I assume you realize that your future spouse must have an attorney as well? 
One mistake I made was not thinking far enough into the future. I have a large asset that’s protected, but should I liquidate, the proceeds could become common property. That’s something I (or my attorney) should have foreseen.
 
I also raised the question of alimony. Although it didn’t really pertain to the prenup in my state, it’s a serious matter, and as mentioned above, every state is different. In addition, I’ve always wondered, what if we move elsewhere? Would my alimony responsibilities be very different? I don’t know if a prenup can head off this problem. Worth asking about….
