I think what's most telling/revealing in this thread are posters who are dictating what rates should be for another human being.  How this rate is too much, period.  That a cap for an escort should exist.
Sorry kids...  That's not going to happen.  And as much as you don't like it, prices aren't backsliding down to when you did most of your hiring in the early-aughts.  Time marches forward and so does cost of living.
Like I said before, if it's too much, move on.  Keep it simple.
Don't show your hand and make it personal.  That's a classic ham-and-egger move.

I don't mean to be argumentative, however, the above post does not reflect reality.
The poster reminds us that we are in a big recession then goes off to offer an unrealistic alternative of going to a sex club and/or using free hook-up apps.   He further says that the provider sets his rate and that clients must accept those rates.  Again, not realistic.  
If a provider asks for too much money, most clients skip over and find a different provider.  
If too many providers ask too high a rate, and continuously gets turned down for the high rates, provider rates will come down. 
It goes both ways.  The recession hits the client and also hits the provider. 
It is just a matter of time before providers realize that their rates are out of line with reality.
