If I ask multiple questions and don't get answers to all of them--even worse: if I repeat a question and get no answer.

    It's called the escort business.
Your problems are borne in the fact that people here are telling how to improve your business model but instead of thanking us your tell us we are all wrong and then you continue to complain you don't have enough business.
Rather a vicious cycle you're creating for yourself.
If twenty people say you're a horse every day... then maybe you should at least consider buying a saddle instead of insisting you're a dolphin.

Going through his videos (thanks for the link btw) he definitely alters his photos to look XXXL big. Which makes no sense since he's big already.

    Exactly.
Once we veer away from from looking at this through the lens of capitalism, market rates, sales pitches that don’t yield a 100% success rate … and start using words like “disrespect” and “insulting” …we need to think about what’s hugely insulting and disrespectful to clients as well.

Making excuses for a provider who clearly tried to pull a fast one. Despite the good reviews, the guy sounds shady AF.

Fortunately most of my hiring is in Berlin, but even here some, mostly new, are trying to push the rate up to 200.  I simply decline, refuse to negotiate, and tell them to wait for someone who will pay their price.  There are LOTS of hot guys at 150.

I always start with RM messaging.   If the provider won't even provide the basics (availability, rate, etc), then I won't switch to texting.   To me a message via RM is an icebreaker.  Get the basics out of the way first and if it appears we are a match, I will continue via text if they want.  To those providers who insist it's just too much work to look at their RM app...give me a break.  At $300/hour, I think people in most professions would be more than happy to look at their messages a few times per day.  I have to respond to about a thousand emails and texts every day in my career and don't make anywhere close to $300+/hour.  I'm sure I'm not alone.

It's not always kicking tires, sometimes messaging more than one provider is trying to find the one that's available. I had an unexpected detour on a trip last year that I found myself in a city I hadn't planned on visiting, therefore I hadn't researched anyone I wanted to hire. Texted half a dozen providers since I had limited time in town to see if anyone was available. One responded a couple hours later saying he wasn't available, the rest didn't even bother responding. It's also not always clear who is the casual provider doing it when they are bored and need money versus the ones that take it seriously.

    So, here's my tire-kicking:
-- are you interested in meeting me? Not every provider is. I'm 70.
-- kissing?  It's important so I ask even if it is mentioned in the ad.
-- safe or bare? Not often specified in an ad.
-- compensation? I have my limits too.
Only the last one gets answered in every case. I prefer to get past these before going to a telephone number.  If some of you guys don't like that, there are others in the business. I find providers to have fun with, and if I don't, well, I get to keep the money.  Wheeeeeeee!

Simple.  Some of us contact multiple providers before making a decision: to make sure they are interested, to check a few requirements, to see how they respond.  Doing it by text puts a lot of strange numbers in my phone and increases the risk of an inappropriate message ("hey stud, wanna....") popping up at an inappropriate time (it happens).  Of course, once the date is firm I have no problem switching to text.

It often seems that the escort/provider's approach to clients is backwards when trying to obtain a client.
If a client were to go to a store to buy an item that was somewhat unique to the buyer, the salesperson at the store would answer all questions the potential buyer would ask.
However, with an escort provider, a few "to-the-point" questions categorizes the client as a "time waster" in the opinion of the provider.
Without a client's questions to the provider being answered makes me wonder how many potential provider/client meetings never take place because the provider thinks he is being asked too many questions by a "time waster".

Rather a lot of trouble to contact someone who expects to take money from me.  I wouldn't do it for a plumber or dentist or lawyer.
