I watched twice. Best ever Pink was awesome. Would love to see Becky Shaw and Death of a Salesman, but doubt if that's going to happen for me. I especially liked Book of Mormon "Man Up". I never saw the national tour thanks to COVID, and still haven't seen it.

I'm curious how much of the base fee the masseur keeps and how much Thai Wellness Spa keeps. Perhaps that info is too propriatery for discussion. I had a good massage recently at Thai Wellness, 90 minutes, $95 rate. I tipped $85. I asked the therapist if OK and he seemed happy. Sounds like you tip a little higher. They must appreciate your generosity. LA is expensive.

There are other posts about pizza, but this one is specific to authentic, traditional homemade pizza from scratch. Does anyone still attempt making both the dough and the sauce from scratch for your pizza? What special techniques do you integrate into your recipe? We grew up with Mom's thin crust pizza from scratch, and so that tradition carries on with my siblings and me. We let the dough rise again after spreading by hand. The video below shows our same method, to spread by hand on a greased sheet. We pre bake the dough and then load the sauce and toppings to finish baking. This gives our crust the desired crispiness. In the video, cooked potato is added to the dough. I wonder how many Italian pizzerias do this?

Is going to college still worth it?

I agree that networking happens. My first job came from a professor's recommendation to a technical society colleague who was my hiring manager. That was a pleasant surprise. Yeah, tuition costs are crazy now. Sounds like many graduate with sizeable debt. -
I love Allison Janney. She's perfect. Janney plays, Judith, a sarcastic New Yorker living out west, in the desert, next door to a bible beater, Bonnie Hunt. Some passive/aggressive hijinks ensue. The main arc is how Judith and an incomer, Jamie (Andrew Rannells) both evolve. A good choice for Pride month. I laughed a lot but there was also a lot of heavy dialogue. I'll watch it again.

Family Guy paid its homage to Leslie Uggams

Gilded Age fans probably already know Leslie Uggams will return in Season 4 as Mrs. Ernestine Brown. Can't wait to see what drama she stirs up. 💗 Meantime, It's June!!!! June is bustin' out all over!

Last one I sampled was at Canters in LA, on Fairfax. According to the Internet, Reubens are found in many countries where restaurants offer "Western Cuisine" The article suggests the Reuben has been around 100 or more years. I recall Mom made them now and then, when I was growing up in the Midwest.

Omaha Nebraska claims to be the originator of the Reuben sandwich, while some culinary experts counter that claim, that it must be New York City. https://www.saveur.com/reuben-sandwich-origin-history/

I wish Kitty would return. But yeah, Laura Dern is great. Need to watch Bullets Over Broadway (Jennifer Tilly).

The Royal Canadian Mint struck their last penny, May 2012, according to the Internet. As a boy scout I earned credit for coin collecting. Canadian pennies turned up often in US change. I would buy rolls of pennies at the bank, and sort through them. I found a few Canadian pennies with George VI and recall one even older than that. Most I collected had "Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada".

Reminds me of Airplane, the non-stop deadpan humor. Hope they made it work. I have always liked Ru Paul. His Insta can be pretty funny. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNV9QlwJhTo/ I watch a little bit of his drag race show, but for me it's not really "must see TV".

That's what I was thinking, especially Jamie Bell. I've always liked him.

Finished Epi 4. Here's an interesting review. https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/half-man-jamie-bell-hbo-max-tv-review-2026

If you didn't know Cilla Black, then I'd say ... What's it all about.... Burt Bacharach signed my copy of his memoir Anyone Who Had a Heart. Cilla Black is mentioned several times.

I saw The Christophers in a theater tonight. Directed by Steven Soderbergh. Michaela Coel is perfect, IMO, playing the young, thin, artsy chick in London. She did everything with what the script provided. I look forward to her in other roles. Ian McKellen was....well, Ian McKellen. 👍 The plot seemed bumpy in a couple of spots but this is still my kind of movie.

I hadn't watched this show for a long time. I remember two of my favorites, back when I watched, were 3rd place finishers, Elliott Yamin and Melinda Dolittle. I tuned in last night. IMO, Jordan M. had superior vocal range and quality. Was surprised he didn't win.

Today the Internet recommended I watch Armistead Maupin's YouTube channel. I was not aware of his channel. I may join, so I can watch the "Members only" videos. I watched 3 videos. All of them quite interesting. Whether or not young folk care to hear about this history, IMO, it's important he has shared it.

I saw him today. But I booked yesterday.

So far, news reports point to the Andes strain of the virus, which can spread person to person. https://www.cnn.com/2026/05/06/health/andes-strain-hantavirus-explained

Would a judge question why the boss already knew he is a bottom, that he was already "out"? Since there is nothing wrong with being gay or bi, has the estranged husband painted more of a negative picture of himself, and perhaps his ex, than the bottom? IMO, if the bottom feels shame, then just work through it.

Anyone have experience with DanielBodyWorks? Reviews on his profile sound good. Pics look good. Cute! https://rentmasseur.com/DanielBodyWorks

This third book sounds like it might be slightly less depressing. 🙂

I also read the book in high school. I like Jacob Elordi, but Emerald Fennell is not my jam. I watched Wuthering Heights on HBO.
