I know it's subjective but i think tattoos are disgusting body mutilation. I've passed on dozens of otherwise handsome escorts, masseurs, and fuckbuddies because i can't get past their tattoos. My husband threatened to get a trendy shoulder/chest tattoo a few years ago. I told him i would leave him if he went through with it.

    @nycman is spot on.
Forget getting a massage on the floor.

Personally, bed massages are pretty worthless....unless we're just using it as a preamble to fucking.

Real massage....requires a table....and we can still fuck on the bed later...if we want!

Oh, No.....Here we go again. @Nvr2Thick you are correct.....here is the third person. The now "Classic" brand new member of the forum who signs up (on Thanksgiving Day no less) and the VERY first post is a glowing review of a masseur who has had negative comments about them. And the beat goes on.....

I was hoping for some feedback based on real experiences with this escort. Only remarks and opinions from a few with no real experience with him was what I got instead. Thanks anyway for the comments... I guess. If I do decide to risk it and give him a try, I'll be sure to post a review for the rare individual that might be curious about hiring him.

When I was a student at UC Berkeley in the 80s, I worked on campus at one of the faculty clubs that also acted as a hotel hosting visiting academics. Late one night I was expecting two arrivals, a Mr. Takemoto and a Mr. Kim. One of the two gentlemen arrived and I tentatively asked, Mr. Takemoto? He was silent for a few seconds, started gritting his teeth and turning red, then said in an angry voice said "DO I LOOK JAPANESE TO YOU!?!" I was a naive kid still unaware of how Korea suffered under the Japanese during WWII. I learned my lesson and never assumed anyone's nationality/ethnicity again.

The problem is that's not what happens.

First off, let's remind everyone that these are spas, not sex clubs. I've seen children sometimes at some of the places with their fathers, with what is supposed to be a familial, cultural experience.

Places like Wilshire and Century have been completely overrun by guys looking to hook up. Listen, we're all horny. But to have no discretion at all, and even worse, make fun at those who may be there for the spa experience, is disrespectful and selfish. But that's what these alpha white gays do...they think they own everything.

I saw an older black gentleman struggle with some of the doors at Century, but no one helped him. Then, a Korean patron went into the steamroom and all the guys made very audible sighs or glares at him until he left.

As an Asian person, I have never felt more hostility towards guys of my race than at Korean Spas. That is a real problem.

I alluded to this in other threads, but it was at Century I received a lot of racial hostility.

Any time I would enter the steamroom or clay sauna, guys would get up and leave.

Once, when the room was very steamy, I heard a white guy complain about there being "too many Asians." Too many Asians at a Korean spa, of all places. It's totally been taken over my many gay elites who only want to see and hookup with others who meet their standards.

Listen, I totally get when there are creepers who try to join the action or get too close. There's plenty of those of every race. But ALL Asians get put into that category at Century and sometimes at Wilshire.

Usually, I just sit way on the other side of the room and/or close my eyes. I'm lucky if they don't get up and leave. They don't mind when a fit white, Latin or Persian guy enters, but the moment an Asian opens the door, they're out of the room before his ass can hit the bench.

It depressed me to the point that I stopped going for awhile. Now it seems to be a bit better, but things have gotten worse at Wilshire.

A public space. A paid for experience. Just because two guys want to mess around there, doesn’t mean they can take over a space and expect other people to leave. There are hotels for privacy.

Sorry when you're doing it in a public place, and accommodating a shared amenity in that public place to do so, you have no reasonable expectation of being left to monopolize it. If they want privacy they can take it to a hotel or their place.

I remember years ago I had a massage with a masseur I had seen in an erotic wrestling video. In my nervousness I asked, " how long have you been a masseuse?" He took my hand placed it on his large flacid penis and said, "Masseur, this is what makes me a Masseur and it has been 5 years."
Never mixed up the two words again.

I think it's ok to do it in writing, perhaps in public it would seem rude, but honestly I would rather know if it were me so as to avoid making the same mistake again. Also, like most things, it depends how it is handled

I know it’s a simple mistake, but for the record, a masseuse is a female who provides massage while a masseur is a male who provides the massage.

For the sake of 99% of conversations on this board, people should refer to a masseur NOT a masseuse.

    That is all.

As I look at escort ads, I notice now that most escorts under 30 years old have tattoos. And not just a single tat, but several all over - arms, legs, calves and chests. This trend has been around for several years and seems to be getting more common.

Does anyone here think that the tattoos make a guy look better? I don't. My opinion is that they cover and distract from a beautiful body - especially if they are large - like ones that cover an entire pectoral muscle - or an entire arm sleeve. But I'm betting that I'm in the minority.

As the tattoo trend seems to grow, it makes me think of the saying: "Nothing expresses your individuality like doing exactly what everyone else is doing."

Maybe because its a major tourist destination. Certainly because of its historic attractiveness to the gay community

Size-wise, SF is relatively small. Not one of the top 10 cities in US. So, there're often fewer choices here than people imagine.

Not really helpful here... and there are other factors at play. I'm always a little disappointed by the peculiar challenge of living in the US city people still label as some gay mecca... and realizing that, in many ways, (including the rentguy scene), it's far from being the best place to be gay.
