I've seen Philipe once about a year ago. He was OK but I probably wouldn't go again. Kind of shy, doesn't talk much. A furry chest and pretty good technique. Just nothing memorable, in my opinion.

I agree mostly with this. Philippe is shy (at least not talkative), nice furry chest and gives a therapeutic massage. The sensual element is inconsistent over the few times I have seen him. Also I know currently he is offering a more sensual session for a higher fee but I haven't tried it yet. Not sure what he means by that.

If you are not wedded to the idea of one of the guys you mentioned, I recently saw Steve (Bliss Massage on masseurfinder) in San Francisco. His highly skilled deep tissue massage is therapeutic, but he's a handsome guy and his massage is very enjoyable. He's also an excellent talker. Here is his link: https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/steven25.shtml Always happy to say more in a PM

Maybe because its a major tourist destination. Certainly because of its historic attractiveness to the gay community

Size-wise, SF is relatively small. Not one of the top 10 cities in US. So, there're often fewer choices here than people imagine.

Not really helpful here... and there are other factors at play. I'm always a little disappointed by the peculiar challenge of living in the US city people still label as some gay mecca... and realizing that, in many ways, (including the rentguy scene), it's far from being the best place to be gay.

For being a relatively small city population-wise, I think SF does pretty well in the escort market. I believe only NYC and LA have more Rentmen ads.

I met a really nice, very friendly escort years ago.... friendly enough that we hung out off the clock during his visit to SF; he found himself with a lot of free time due to cancellations, flakes, etc.

His escort's viewpoint: San Francisco is so gay-accepting, and the Bay Area is soooo tolerant, people have become very self indulgent in getting exactly what they want. "This may be the only place on earth," he opined "where a guy may ask an escort ten to fifteen screening questions, and then say 'oh, your right nipple is pierced. I'm looking for a guy whose left nipple is pierced,'" and decline to set an appointment.

Exaggerated and dramatic, to be sure, but I believe its a fair representation of SF Bay attitudes.
