  1. I figured putting my tip in your hand might be pushy or jumping the gun tho. Must be my prudish American sensibility.
  2. I’m curious too. Is the massage any good (extras discussion aside?) Ditto my comments on HoldenFlex
  3. Crazy. It’s like they’re charging you just to be in their presence. I might find what gym they work out at and be in their fully clothed presence for free! Or save yourself the trouble and watch the porn on your own time and get a skilled massage from a pro. Equivalent of their Option 4 you can see me for half the price of what these guys quote. The Sean Cody alumni status has gone to their heads. I’m no Sean Cody model, but my clients are very satisfied. Plus you have at least the option to hire me for escort services for the same as they charge for a massage. I would move on. There are at least a few good options around SD for sensual/erotic massage that won’t charge you a full on escort rate. Anyone have an idea if the massage is good (extras discussion aside)?
  4. I typically start with neck and shoulders face down, then back, arms, and work my way down the body to legs and turn the client over. Lots of long, full body strokes along the way. I do feet for a longer massage or when specifically requested. Not everyone appreciates their feet being massaged, but those that do really enjoy it. I like the face up approach. I’ve had this once before and the masseur said it was to minimize time getting a stuffy nose face down. I still start face down. I always enjoy incorporating what I like to call a “happy middle”. Sometimes followed later by a happy ending. Happy middle is often face down. Depends on the client though. Not everyone wants that, and some can only cum once…and want/expect it to happen at the end, face up, like every other masseur they’ve ever been with. I try to open up their horizons a bit, but some people are stuck in their ways and upset when something is unexpected and different. I do a lot of traditional face-up-at-the-end style happy endings as well. At least with those it’s never mechanical or boring. I take pride in giving a powerful, memorable, and pleasurable finale experience. Usually some edging play involved. Sometimes some ass play as well, balls, other erogenous zones. There are so many ways to make it fun, interesting, and interactive. I’m amazed at how many men have never been properly edged before and it blows their mind! Sometimes there is another “happy” moment in the shower afterward. It doesn’t have to be confined to the table. Once in a while a client gets off the table for a minute or two to enjoy being on their knees… One of the important aspects is a sense of building connection, and then building up erotic energy over the course of the session. Sometimes I start off with a naked hug. A minority of clients either can’t or don’t want to cum, and that’s fine. I incorporate whatever level of eroticism the client wants. At a minimum, with me you always receive an excellent therapeutic massage. Reading and communicating with your client is important.
  5. If you ever visit San Diego… or ask me to visit your city. I will add you to my list for that place and just may visit at some point and reach out when I plan the trip.
  6. I have a room to myself at InnDulge for incalls. Should a pool gathering materialize closer to the date on Friday 4/12, count me in. Otherwise excited to meet everyone at all three main events! Newell (RentMasseur: MuscleGingerXL) will be at the Hyatt in downtown PS staying Fri and Sat nights. We are available together and separately for massage and/or more. Unfortunately he is not attending any of the events.
  7. Thanks for bringing this up. Many of you clients don’t consider transaction fees in your daily lives. Not just with providers but with all small businesses. Depending on the method, it costs the merchant between 2.5-3.0% of your total transaction. Sometimes slightly less than that, sometimes slightly more. For a larger transaction of, say, $1,450 that’s over $40 out of the provider’s pocket. Consider this cost when you tip. Maybe you want to tip 20% (or fill in the blank %). Effectively, your tip is actually about 17%. Consider tipping 3-5 percentage points more to make up for the processing fees, which serve as a convenience to you, the consumer, for using digital payments. Especially if you’re getting credit card rewards benefits on top of that. Those benefits are a tax on your merchants. Zelle costs nothing. If your bank offers Zelle (all major US banks do), consider that over Venmo, CashApp, credit cards, and other digitals. Many transactions are smaller, perhaps only a few hundred dollars, but over the course of a year, digital transaction fees add up to thousands of dollars of lost revenue. I can’t complain when the client is tipping, of course, but if they aren’t tipping at all, it incentivizes me to increase rates to make up for this cost. Or perhaps charge a premium for certain digital payments. Fortunately half my business or more is in cash, so digital payment processing fees aren’t driving my pricing decisions. In my opinion, it’s bad business to nickel and dime my clients in such a way. I’m better off getting more business overall and eating the fees than I am getting less business due to the psychological deterrent of charging more in fees. In an increasingly cashless world, however, these digital transaction fees contribute to the rising costs of everything from bread to massages. Meanwhile, digital payment processors and credit card companies make tens of billions of dollars on these fees every year in the US, and even more globally. Cash, at least in this biz, is still king…for privacy reasons more than anything. Please tip your providers when you use a digital payment method.
  8. @Jamie21 I’ve had similar challenges with large clients and/or small dick clients. Similar solutions as yours...we get through it one way or another. Sometimes it’s much easier to use a bed instead of trying to do everything with a massage table. This is our job, to bring every client an excellent experience, no matter the challenges with their body or the way they look. These issues are precisely why someone might choose to hire, among many other valid reasons. I find it commendable that you make the most of the situations you find yourself in and problem solve your way to a solution. We make our job look easy, but it isn’t. It takes creativity, flexibility, compassion, and determination to succeed among a wide range of clients. Bravo! I share your ethos.
  9. It’s all about that money, honey. Bring whatever kind of dick you own and have a blast! Hell, I don’t care if you even have a dick. Strap it on if that’s what gets you off. Willing to pay? You’re in! It’s more about how you use it anyway.
  10. My system is really easy for incalls. You book what you want for any available time on my website. My system automatically applies padding time between appointments when you book. Select your service, your preferred time, and click book. Bam! An automated email goes out to the client instantly with my address info and very clear directions, plus I follow up with a text confirmation as soon as I see the alert pop up, usually within the hour. In the text, I detail out the parking info and include marked up photos of exactly where to go so it’s very difficult to get lost or go to the wrong entry. Then the client shows up at my door at the time they booked. Simple. I don’t know why it’s so complicated for others. A few cases where it may be slightly more involved: 1) Client wants escort services and I have to coordinate with my schedule first to make sure I can fulfill the request when they want me. A client text request including what they want, where, and when will suffice. Too often I have to pull teeth getting this basic info, but experienced clients know what to include. There may be an initial delay getting back to the client depending on what I have going on, but it’s as soon as I have a moment to see it and get back. I confirm, clarify any rates or other questions they may have, and book it for the client. I send all the details and address. Then the client shows up at their agreed upon time. Easy. 2) Client wants an outcall (for any of my services). Same process as #1 except I factor in lots of padding for travel time, traffic, setups, breakdowns, and so on. I agree to show up at a certain time I can reasonably expect to fulfill, and typically arrive at least a few minutes early….because that is the only way to consistently be on time! I text when I’m on my way and when I park/arrive. Easy. 3) Client reaches out for “now”/“soon”/“asap”. Here’s where it gets complicated and annoying. Often the client is doing this on a whim when they’re feeling horny. They get very impatient and demand I teleport to them. I pass on these. For the reasonable few, I say I can see the client at a certain time, say, an hour in the future. And then the rest of the process from #1 or #2 apply. I confirm for clients who want to do multiple confirmations prior to meeting, but it’s unnecessary with me. Once you’re booked, you have all the info you need. Showing up on time for an incall is up to the client. I show up on time for outcalls. In the rare case I am delayed, I message saying I will be xx minutes late. Not difficult. I don’t understand why this is so mystifying for other providers or clients.
  11. It goes both ways. The best clients and the best providers view the information available to them.
  12. It works best (at least for me) when the client hires me for a couple hours, at least one time, often multiple times before we have a strong mutual connection and trust to spend a whole day, an overnight, or longer together. I have had it work out for a first time longer term hire though, it just depends. These things are very specific to personality and chemistry connections, so it’s important you both get along well. He may have a rocking bod, but it only goes so far. After the second romp, you need more than a good looking man to keep it interesting, entertaining, and pleasurable. It pays to take your guys for a test drive before investing in a longer term experience. Then again, the best pros can connect with almost anyone for nearly any finite length of time, so you never know. Thorough research here and elsewhere makes a hell of a difference. Referrals are great too.
  13. High SPF lotion for the face, spray for the body. You can reach your own back with the spray if necessary, but a companion helping you is more comfortable and accurate. Rub the back of your hands together with either lotion or spray to get that skin covered without greasing up the pads of your fingers and palms. That last trick works well for day to day moisturizing products. …and for those of you blonds, gingers, and others as pale as I am, reapply every hour, stick to the shade, wear a hat, sunglasses, and be extra careful about your exposure between 10am-2pm. …or simply stay indoors and take a sigh of relief!
  14. ^I’ve never seen Logan Skylark, but I have the same concerns. _________________________ For any questions on MuscleGingerXL, PM me. I’ll gladly take any intel on CalFurey or VegasBoy. Not sure I would describe any of these gents as a surfer or preppy type, but hey, whatever works for you.
  15. Whether you like intact or circumcised, there is no need to call the other one gross or mutilated or less-than or ‘other’. It’s mean and unnecessary. It serves no purpose except to put others down. Same goes for kinks and fetishes. Everyone has a yum. Everyone has a yuk. There is no need to emphasize the yuk. Share what you DO like and celebrate those things. At the same time, I agree it’s fair to inquire as to what you are potentially paying for. Someone’s body should have features important to you since you’re paying for the privilege of access to said body. Quite all right to pass on a provider that doesn’t align with your range of ‘yums’. Remember, a lot of this is based on culture, traditions, and personal preferences. Circumcised men here in the US, by and large, did not choose to be circumcised. In the latter half of the 20th century, it was the default practice based on cultural norms, peer pressure, and claims about health benefits. Some of the claims have a basis in science, but many of them are exaggerated and a means to justify imposing personal preferences on others and society at large. Circumcision doesn’t excuse us from teaching our kids good hygiene habits and sex ed. There is no opt-out option for babies. We (society) imposed this on our newborns without their consent. Too bad if you don’t want an altered body as an adult. In my mind, baby circumcision is akin to piercings and tattoos without one’s consent. To Jews, it’s a sacred practice of expressing outwardly with one’s body that he is set apart and chosen. That’s beautiful, but it still decides something permanently for the kid without his consent, whether he wants to practice his family’s tradition or not. It kind of defeats the set-apart symbolism purpose when the vast majority of gentiles in a given place are circumcised.
  16. @rojjodc Here is a snapshot showing travel location options. With the Gold membership tier, I can advertise in up to 6 cities at once, each for a maximum of 30 days, and the dates can be in sequence, but not overlap by more than one day ie Dallas in the morning of 3/16 and Austin in the evening of 3/16. With a basic membership, I can advertise up to 3 cities. Some of your providers will advertise in multiple cities, some will not. There is a time limit though, so they may not be re-listing after the time lapses. FYI, I only list in other cities I am for sure visiting for a specific length of time, with travel and accommodations booked before I even advertise. Not everyone is that way. It’s common for a provider to list a travel city with a date range to see what interest he can attract to help him decide if he wants to actually visit the city. This behavior is really annoying and frustrating for clients because it leads to a lot of wasted client time, but it’s a thing. Fortunately a lot of times these “tentative” trips lead to actual booked trips and you would never know the difference. The point is to avoid spending time and money traveling to a new destination and not getting any work and eat a net loss for that trip. Some of your guys may list nearby cities in the same way we can list “nearby travel” destinations on RentMen. Key difference here is RentMen allows you to list those nearby travel locations indefinitely, whereas RentMasseur designs their interface for masseurs actively traveling to other destinations and presumably staying there for one or more nights. The dates cannot overlap. You could basically make a bogus schedule in sequence to advertise in each nearby location. It doesn’t matter to RentMen if you’re listing 20 miles away or 2000 from your home city. Same setup. Some providers list nearby travel destinations in their ad text. Or they periodically list nearby locations in their travel schedule, only to refresh those with new dates after the 30 day time period expires for each one. RentMasseur does not charge for specific words or make us select search terms. They just give us space to write ad text. As long as we don’t violate the terms, we can write whatever we want. Your search function may be a matter of how your providers list themselves and what text they choose to feature in their ad. Spelling errors and typos affect hits in searches. A total “daddy” type may not describe himself using that word. Or maybe you view him as a daddy but he doesn’t self identify as a daddy. Or he just doesn’t feature the exact word in his ad text. RentMen is better at searching for type identifiers and identity terms like twink, bear, otter, daddy, leather, drag queen, trans, etc. The provider would need to select those terms to be featured on their profile, regardless of how closely they fit the term. They could identify as one type or another, but it won’t pop up unless they select the term from a drop down menu.

  18. Can anyone recommend a FTM provider in or near the San Diego area? Maybe someone that isn’t in the usual places to look? I am hoping to find a local pro to minimize travel and overall cost. RentMen only has two in SD, which I have contacted. OC only has one, which is already one of the other two listed in SD. In PS there are none, except for one traveler who won’t be there on the right date. The Los Angeles pool I figure is a better bet. I found a few more options, of which I have contacted some, but I fear the cost may be prohibitive for anyone based in LA, much less for outcall service to SD. That could be a non-starter. Also, scarcity of FTM providers may naturally command higher rates. All just assumptions on my part. I’m getting some referrals from FTM providers in the LA area who weren’t available on the date I needed. Hopefully those will lead to a match. If anyone has a recommendation closer to SD, I would appreciate it.
  19. I have at least 5 different ads, plus my website, plus a couple of profiles on apps. If I listed them all, my signature would be unbearably long and convoluted. I list my website and my most popular ad here, which is plenty, I think. Massage therapists advertising exclusively on MF are way more likely to be therapeutic only. Some, like me, advertise the whole gamut of services elsewhere. A few of the therapeutic only guys on MF treat it like paid Grindr where they only go further with a select cadre of clients they are into. I don’t. I match the service to what the client wants. Sometimes they find me on MF and request full service, and some of my RM clients just come for basic service. Or visa versa. Just depends on the client moreso than the platform. MasseurFinder is a racket. $105/mo and it yields poor return on investment, but a few good, high quality clients. RentMasseur is the opposite, $40/mo and an excellent ROI. I get a range of clients from each, plus more from all the other ads. In aggregate, all the platforms are worth it to me. I get all kinds of requests from all of my ads. Erotic from RM, therapeutic from MF, and the opposite. Oftentimes I don’t know how a client found me unless I go out of my way to ask, or they mention a special that I advertise on only one ad. Oftentimes the client is uncomfortable asking for what they really want. I do it all, from full service escort work to clothed, professional therapeutic only massage. Most of my clients fall on a spectrum in between those two ends. I’ve yet to have a complaint about me answering the door naked. Very few are wanting the prudish end of the spectrum, but I have great therapeutic skills, and my clients find value in that aspect and keep coming back to enjoy the value-added erotic aspects. I deliver whatever my clients need. I just wish more would be upfront about their wants and needs. My base massage rates include erotic elements (if the client wants them) for the same price as a strictly therapeutic massage. Not everyone on MF is this way. I would expect it to be more universal on RM, but it’s not always the case either. I think of my service as a value-added proposition. Clients who want much more than massage can hire me for that. All they have to do is ask, and I’ll quote it. The benefit with me is you get an excellent massage no matter what. Unless you just want escort services, which is fine too!
  20. I didn’t dig much deeper with Tal, but the way I interpret the TV channel app numbers is # of users who use the app and could potentially be served an ad at some point. It’s unrealistic for millions of users to have seen at least one ad for this small niche website. TV spots cost a lot more than what he’s spending. Even local TV channels cost quite a bit and they wouldn’t even be targeted. It is easier to target ads on apps though. The impressions number looks more realistic to me, and I am assuming most or all of the impressions are from webpage ads or popping up in search results, things like that. Only a small fraction of impressions generate click-throughs, and a small fraction of those generate any leads, much less bookings. There is no way to tell how many clients the featured service providers are getting from the site unless each one independently asked their clients to disclose where they saw their ad and reported that in a consistent way to Tal. It would have to be like a required survey to mean anything. Nobody is going to do that. I have enough trouble getting a first name from some clients, much less details about how they found me. Tal, unsurprisingly, couldn’t provide any data on his featured providers’ bookings originating from the new site.
  21. Welcome to the forum @jackdallas. In this little corner of cyberspace, the deposits topic is akin to religion and politics. We don’t talk about it unless you want an endless, divisive pointless argument. Each side will die on hill. Nobody is changing their mind from what they already think. At best, we agree to disagree and have pizza. At worst, personal attacks prompt moderators to close the topic. Others have pointed you in the right direction. Look there. If @56harrisond had a nickel for every time he graciously took time to search for and post relevant links…he could hire to his heart’s content for decades. Thank you! Start or participate in deposits debates (battles? martyr spectacles? shit shows?) at your own risk!
  22. ^Yes, this is among my chief concerns. He’s advertising on TV apps (see his capture below) and trying to leverage some SEO. I thought the point is that you don’t have commercials on most of these apps, but the free ones you would still have ads. SEO I think would be more effective, but I’m no marketing guru. Considering how specific the product is, I wonder how he would get it to the right people…which leads me to believe his strategy relies on creepy stealth marketing data bought and sold by small and large corporations alike. I know some of you here place a high premium on privacy and discretion, so I imagine some would be upset seeing a targeted ad for gay massage on your tv apps just because of the content you view or the products you buy in your daily life. I know the over abundance of personal data floating around bothers me sometimes. I asked about impressions, click throughs and similar data, and he shared these numbers:
  23. Not true for me. Maybe with new clients moreso, but even then most of mine show up.
