One of my clients hired Nick for a group play session in San Diego. After sharing the client’s wishlist, he said the client is high maintenance, which to be honest, in many respects, is fair. In any case, Nick agreed to join. This was a week or more ahead. I followed up two days before to confirm our time. He asked for another reminder which I sent about half a day before our meeting time. 15 mins before our meeting time, he texts saying he is running 15 mins behind and for sure will be there by then if the client still wants to meet. I agreed and asked the client and other hired guy wait up. Time comes and no Nick. I reach out asking if he is still on his way. Nothing. 30 mins past our start time we give up and decide to start without him. I tell Nick as much with a text. Sure enough, halfway through the session Nick messaged saying he was 10 mins away. I see it after the session ends and he apologized saying he prides himself on professionalism, blah blah blah. He didn’t miss out on anything. The other hired guy was completely unprepared. Literally unwashed, dirty butt inside and out. Then lied about it later saying he was shocked there was any problem, that he had spent a long time prepping, gaslighting me. Smelled like rank musky beef jerky. Who in their right mind goes to a session expecting to take a dick, especially anything of the proportions of Nick Capra’s without first making any effort to prepare? It blows my mind the things I see in this business. Sometimes I feel like the only professional in the room. Scratch Nick off the list. This is why I shy away from content creators and porn stars. A lot of them don’t take their in person work very seriously, if they offer in person services at all.

You can believe your claim sincerely. Without facts or evidence to back it up, however, your statement is only a belief. No reporting on either end of the bias spectrum has presented conclusive evidence - only theories, speculation, and opinion so far. -

Still waiting for your evidence, any at all, from a credible, unbiased source to substantiate your claim that Jimmy Kimmel lied about anything on his show, given the circumstances and information available at the time. You can repeatedly say he is lying, but that does not make it so. Back it up -

Sinclair will not. They said they won’t until Kimmel apologizes and donates to Turning Point. Hell would freeze over first. Kimmel has been sticking to his principles, not something we can say of many others in the current moment. A lot of folks, especially the under 50 and under 40 crowd, do not view shows like Kimmel’s live on TV anymore. Millennials like you (BuffaloKyle) and I tend to watch on YouTube and other outlets where the content is viewable on demand, at the convenience of the watcher, with minimal ads, and sometimes without ads. Few of us are staying up and tuning in at the moment the show is broadcast on traditional television. A lot of us don’t even have traditional television anymore. TV ratings do not reflect the true reach and influence of shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live. Sinclair can choose not to air, but that won’t stop the people in those broadcast areas from accessing the content. It’s all available online. Applause to Kimmel, various celebrities, entertainment unions, and others, for standing up for free speech! We can never truly live as free people in a society where the state either controls or polices the media. Rand Paul, and even Ted Cruz, of all people, spoke with clarity about the plain reality of what happens when the proverbial tables are turned. One core value all true American patriots (regardless of party) share is the right to, and unwavering protection of, free speech. This time, true American values win. Now that we get a peek inside the boardroom, we can see that apparently Bozo was wrong about the executives’ motives. Linking the following article discussing what really went down, and why. From the article: "Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country," the statement says. "It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday." -
How to teach a provider how to top better?
Simon Suraci replied to DMonDude's topic in Questions About Hiring
Send him to me. I’ll teach him. 😉 But seriously though, bottoming is crucial to learn what feels good so that a top can become excellent. Just like giving head, it takes practice. Also, there’s the subtle art of reading your bottom’s cues, reactions, expressions, and being sensitive to his particular needs. The bottom can tell his top to do these things, but it takes a true pleaser top and an empath to develop excellent topping skills. -

You also were not in the boardroom, so your statements, too, are speculation. Here is the basis I used to speculate, using critical reasoning skills to examine the facts and arrive at a conclusion. Timing: Canceling the show occurred immediately after public and private backlash to the episode content. The timing suggests pulling the show was in response to the backlash. Motives: Nexstar is trying to buy another conglomerate to gain access to an outsize market share of American audiences. The FCC regulates that no single entity can own TV stations reaching more than 40% of the public. The deal would give them double that cap: 80% of market share. Nexstar needs the FCC to lift these restrictions to allow Nexstar’s otherwise unlawful acquisition to proceed. The FCC, therefore, has significant leverage over media corporations like Nexstar to make demands and concessions in exchange for more favorable, if not illegal, media company dealmaking. Influences: Brendan Carr, the chairman of the FCC, said "We can do this the easy way or the hard way", referring to actions ABC could take regarding late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. Carr’s mob boss style coercion and intimidation tactics almost certainly influenced the media company’s decisions. I need not mention where Carr’s loyalties lie to connect the dots, but I will add this obvious implication to make it plain. Given the recent history of people in power pressuring CBS to cancel The Colbert Report, the top of the movement has enormous influence. Jimmy Kimmel Live is the next of perhaps many pins to fall. Anyone that dare point out plain facts in a comedic manner risks damaging a fragile ego, and being pressured from said ego to be cancelled/fired/silenced. _______________ On what basis did you form your own conclusions? _______________ With regard to “lies” There is no evidence to support claims that Jimmy Kimmel lied about anything on his last show, given the circumstances and information available at the time. Any evidence you have, please share. Opinions are not evidence. Speculation is not “lying”, especially not speculation presented in a comedic manner designed to provoke contemplation and challenge the viewer to do their own investigation of the facts from credible sources, and arrive at their own conclusions. Some say the shooter was an alt-right extremist unhappy with Charlie Kirk’s views, perhaps in the shooter’s sphere of thought, not far right enough. Others speculate the shooter has left leaning ideas. Without more concrete evidence, or a trial to find all the facts, I don’t know that anyone can say for sure what was going on in the shooter’s head when he decided to murder someone who, at first pass, aligned more closely with his family’s beliefs and worldview than someone on the opposite side of the political spectrum. -

These entities are beholden to the very leadership that Kimmel was critiquing. Their decisions weren’t about ratings; their decisions were about capitulation to that same leadership - leadership that can’t handle criticism. If it were truly about ratings, it would have happened much sooner, and on the basis of not renewing contracts at the end of a term. Actions to pull the show were in direct response to backlash from those who can’t handle criticism. -

Simon Suraci replied to jeezifonly's topic in TV and Streaming services
I disagree. The intent of propaganda isn’t to invite questioning, but to produce compliance and unity around a message by using emotional appeals, simplified narratives, and repetition rather than evidence-based reasoning. This approach discourages analysis and nuance. Late night shows employ satire, not propaganda. The show’s writers write the jokes, while the entertainer executes delivery. This small group of people does not a powerful cabal make. Satire uses humor, irony, exaggeration, mockery, or ridicule to expose and critique flaws in human behavior, social norms, and cultural institutions. Satire seeks to inspire awareness and critical thinking; it entertains while urging people to look deeper at what’s really going on. Critical thinking introduces doubt, nuance, and alternative perspectives. Satire does not tell people what to think, but rather invites them to question what the powerful in society are telling them to think. The power structures here are not a handful of late night show writers, producers or entertainers. The shows are punching up by poking fun at those in power who would tell us what to think. The key difference between satire and propaganda is whether the communicator wants the audience to think for themselves or to submit to a message. In late night TV, the entertainers want the audience to think for themselves. Jokes, in this medium, are the vehicle to get people to do so. With regard to parroting: late night TV shows come up with their own original creative material. They do mock, but they are not regurgitating, mimicking, or copying anything. -

This is exactly why we need truth tellers like Kimmel to fill a jester role in our society. -
Here is the latest I heard from the webmaster: “Be advised that for a short period of time the non-Premium clients were unable to see explicit coated. However, it was confirmed by our IT department that the issue was fixed. In case a user reports that they are unable to see your X-rated photos, please ask them to contact us here or to our email address [email protected]” The webmaster clarified earlier in our exchange that they are referring to my region; the implication being that for other regions, presumably outside the US, it may be different. I suspect now or in the future, restrictions in certain states in the US applying to pornography may apply to viewing explicit content on RM, but I don’t know. Maybe someone here residing in a state requiring age verification to view pornography can illuminate this point.

*Late Night TV takes another hit
Simon Suraci replied to jeezifonly's topic in TV and Streaming services
Late night TV called out uncomfortable facts by making light of them. Calling out an unflattering truth exposes glaring hypocrisy. Rather than acknowledging or making an effort to address the hypocrisy, the response here was to silence the voices calling it out. Consider the role of the jester, and his cousin, the clown. The clown entertains using comedy, audience interaction, and physical stunts to make people laugh and bring joy. The clown provides fun, if not superficial, unchallenging, entertainment by focusing on physical gags and tricks. The jester, however, provides a more consequential role in society. The role of a jester in sparking positive change lies in using humor and satire to challenge authority, speak uncomfortable truths, and expose the flaws of those in power. Though often seen as mere entertainers, jesters historically occupied a unique position with "jester's privilege," a license to mock and critique without facing the severe repercussions that others would. This made them potent, though often subtle, agents of change. Historically, jesters wielded influence within the court and beyond by: * Speaking truth to power: Jesters could communicate harsh realities to rulers who were often surrounded by "yes-men" too afraid to contradict them. For example, after the French navy's destruction at the Battle of Sluys in 1340, King Philippe VI's jester delivered the bad news through a sarcastic joke, revealing the truth of the defeat when others wouldn't. * Providing impartial advice: Unlike other court members seeking favor, a jester could offer rulers fresh, unfiltered perspectives on important matters of state. Their insight often helped heads of state gain perspective and make better decisions. * Critiquing corruption and injustice: Jesters would often publicly mock corrupt officials, social norms, and the excesses of the ruling elite. This commentary, delivered through wit and observation, served as a subtle, yet impactful form of social critique. * Exposing hypocrisy: Through their performances, jesters acted as mirrors to society, highlighting its flaws and the hypocrisy of its leaders. This prompted reflection among the court and revealed truths that went otherwise ignored. Contemporary jesters take the form of late night comedians, animated shows, video memes created by everyday people on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, and more. By removing the role of the jester in society (and more broadly, free speech), those with power to do so are breaking all the mirrors. The proverbial emperor has no clothes, and without a mirror to reveal the facts, nakedness reigns supreme. Once all the jester voices have been eliminated from society, all we are left with is a bunch of clowns. -
We would do so if it weren’t prohibited. Some of us low key do, but we have to move immediately to texting or another platform to avoid explicit discussion of offering services (even legal services like massage). Unfortunately, scammers are doing the same thing, directing to other platforms or sending links to things for scam purposes. It can be hard to tell the difference sometimes, so seasoned app users avoid like the plague.

Thanks for checking and sharing what you can see @BuffaloKyle @DMonDude @Jiminy @Wings246 @jrhoutex @Chiron368 and others sharing here. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the blocking/allowing of X pics on RentMen US or EU. I don’t think it’s a regulatory concern. It seems to be a juicing strategy; it’s to see how much they can squeeze out every client. Please do share here as things progress. Note additional changes to what you can view on provider ads, and any communications you have with RentMen. I have a few choice questions for them about their photo visibility policy.
-
Yesterday a client was asking to view my nudes. I get tired of sending everyone pics individually when they are all available online. Assuming he was viewing RentMasseur, I directed him to RentMen, since all but two pics are in my public gallery, including nudes. The other two pics RentMen forced into a premium gallery because they depict kink interests, although they are not nude. The client told me he can’t see the nude pics, and I sent him screenshots showing that they are visible: The client said he doesn’t see the photos on his end because he is not a premium member and showed me this: Soooooo….. RentMen is telling me my photos are public, but they are, in fact, not. At least not to members without the paid membership. Sneaky. I HAAATE this! We providers pay premiums to advertise. I even started paying extra to be a “sponsor” and be featured as an interview of the day, among other things, to see how these may boost views. Such a waste when clients can’t view the ad content I am paying extra to promote. Not letting clients view my photos creates way too much friction. I am losing out on prospective business. RM is charging me to post photos, and then holding them for ransom until clients pay a fee to view them. The clients may be frustrated about it, but they are not losing anything. They sigh and move on to the next ad, or give up. Most of them are not caving to the demand to pay a monthly membership fee. It’s like a retailer instituting a cover charge to browse the merchandise. Nobody wants to shop there. Because RM is essentially a monopoly in the US, they get away with it. I’ve had it with RentMen’s exploitation. I won’t let them be my pimp anymore. I’m working on a business website where I can post everything and make it freely available to prospective clients. Once it’s ready, I will remove the photos from RentMen, save for one primary photo, and direct traffic to my own website.

Ditto Jamie‘s sentiments. It varies for me. Some days I have poured out so much energy that whether I feel horny or not (usually not) the thought of having sex, much less spending energy finding a partner for sex, is utterly exhausting. Other days, it doesn’t matter if I worked a lot or if most of it was sexually demanding. I am still very horny, energized, and motivated to seek out sex partners in the form of fwb, casual hookups, or indulge in some self pleasure. I love sex and I am good at it. That’s one of the many reasons I am in this line of work. I had a conversation with another provider recently about this very subtopic. He is satisfied letting clients fulfill all his sexual needs, and he is only a masseur, not an escort. My take is that sex for work is totally different (for me). It’s not about the amount of sex, type of sex, or even who it’s with. I can never be personally satisfied with work sex because in personal sex: - I (mutually with partners) choose who, what, when, how, and how much I want. - I can fully indulge in my own pleasure rather than be preoccupied with professionalism. - I express myself freely. I don’t have to be a persona or what people want me to be. - I can say no to anyone for any reason at any time. This is personally empowering because for work, the only reasons I say no are for legitimate business reasons, not personal preferences, or because I don’t like the person, or because I don’t feel like it in the moment. - I decide if, when, and how many times I cum. I don’t have to cum on demand in a way I personally find unsatisfying or draining. - When I’m done, I’m done. I’m not obligated to entertain someone for the remainder of a predetermined time period. Conversely, sex can keep going longer than it typically does with clients. I often like to go a long time. - I am not concerned with performance, being evaluated, judged, rated, or impressing someone enough to motivate them to see me again. I just do what feels right to me, as long as it’s consensual with other people. All of these, and more, make my personal sex fulfilling to me. I can never have these when I am being paid, not even when it’s with men I am very physically attracted to. I cherish and guard my personal sex because it is necessarily more limited - because of all the reasons Jamie mentioned - than for the average healthy sexually active man. When I do have personal sex, it’s special.

All of the above happens. I reach out from time to time for the following: 1) Client wants a group and I’m organizing and vetting the talent. It’s mostly RentMen, but some from RentMasseur. 2) Massage exchanges 3) To hire massage for market research 4) To hire massage for personal enjoyment 5) Connect with other masseurs to offer 4-hand massages in various cities. 6) Haven’t yet, but sometimes I consider hiring for my partner and I for a special occasion. 7) Haven’t yet, but if/when I make content, I would reach out for collaborations. 😎 Networking. Friendships form. I invite people with good reputations to invite-only provider groups. Sometimes the groups meet in person. Basically, anything business related. While some social aspects are part of it, it all stems from business I am currently doing, hope to do in the future, or for some professional development aspect like sharing knowledge and learning, mentoring and being mentored, and for safety in numbers. The more connected we are, the better we can look out for one another. For 3 and 4, almost always as a regular Joe, not indicating in any way that I am another provider. Some providers hire me. I don’t let on that I know who they are. I just go about my usual work and treat them like I would another client. I do not use the sites to solicit unpaid hookups. It’s unprofessional and annoying. We waste so much time dealing with clients wanting/expecting low or no fee service all the time. Sometimes clients make me want to scream or say I don’t do this shit for free, or you’re a joke, or things like that. Most of the time I am professional and courteous about declining. Providers behaving in the same manner is not any better. It’s flattering, but we all know why we are here. If I want to hook up with a provider for free, I approach them on hookup apps if/when I notice them and have an interest, and visa versa they approach me. Those are the appropriate channels for arranging a non commercial hookup. Otherwise just hire the guy through RentMen if you really want to, like everyone else does.

I’m excited for you, @Boaxxx. Sounds like you’re going to have a great time! You already have providers that know and work with one another, are comfortable with one another. That’s 75% of the effort right there. As far as scripting and choreographing, I find it’s best to leave a loose structure with general direction and let the guys take it from there, unless you have any specific roleplay fantasies or specific fetish things you want to make sure they include. Speaking from experience, one of my clients has a long and very specific list of things he wants me and the other 2-5 guys to do to one another and to him. He’s hired me many times for these groups so I know how they go down. He gets hung up on the details ahead of the meeting, micromanaging me asking me to make sure everyone knows exactly what they are doing. I do. Then, in the moment, he throws most of it out the window because the energy is such that he wants to proceed with how things are naturally going. And he also asks for various things in the moment, like being in a director’s chair. All the effort I put in to choreograph things (per his request) is wasted because in the moment he just wants to go with the flow, or changes his mind from what he said he wanted. Some general direction is good. Telling your providers how you want to feel is a good start, because they can get creative with how to execute the prompt. I advise against giving them several different scenarios because they become focused on which one to do rather than how to do the one well. If you want to be “surprised” in some way, maybe give them some room to do things you aren’t expecting. Choosing from a list, you won’t really be surprised by much. “Oh, ok, I see they are doing scenario #2…” and then your expectations kick in for #2. If the surprise aspect is truly important, maybe give them the wheel and ask to be surprised. That way you lack the expectations and leaves more room for genuine surprise. It sounds like you basically know what you want though. Some general direction for one scene is good. In the moment you can always ask for a shift, for them to do something. “Hand gag me”, “Suck on his ______”, “Spank me harder”, etc. Moans, groans, saying yes, oh yeah, I like that, are all good ways to gently push the session in the direction you want it to go without having to be extremely specific or interrupt the pace. You will feel things in the moment. You will be surprised by one thing or another. You want the wiggle room to let your feelings lead the way. It’s a feedback loop. If these guys are good, they will pick up on your cues, respond to your body, and listen when you make a request. Then it gratifies you, and your positive feedback encourages them to push further, and so on and so forth. Don’t be afraid to ask for things in the moment, and communicate positive feedback, even in the most basic ways with a grunt or groan. You will feel things and you can’t always anticipate ahead of time how you will feel in the moment. You want to make the most of the experience in the moment, so minimal choreographing is best. Just my opinion. Please let us know how it goes! P.S. if it works out well, you can always do a repeat with some or all of the same guys, but ask for a different scenario on your wishlist the next time. That way, they are focused on creatively fulfilling one prompt, rather than focusing on which prompt to choose in the first place.

Good to hear you can still give topping a go! What’s your treatment plan?
-
EXACTLY what I am working on right now
-
My late neighbor had it. He and his wife couldn’t have sex anymore for many years until his death. She said he was still good at oral sex. Alas, I believe she is a closet lesbian. No matter. Many men have curved dicks, but this disease is where scar tissue makes a more extreme bend in the penis, which makes it painful, uncomfortable, or otherwise impossible to have sex.
-
Yes, I would be happy to do this, but: 1) I don’t feel like I should have to. I should be allowed to share all my pics on my main gallery if I want. Taking the extra time is not a huge deal, but it is extra time nonetheless. 2) Having to ask discourages interested clients from taking this extra step, so they may pass me by more often than they otherwise would. 3) The RM sites took away the one click “share private gallery” feature years ago. On RentMasseur, for instance, I would do exactly what you described, unlocking the gallery for each inquiring client individually. RM removed this feature. So now every time someone asks, I have to upload pics five max at a time per message and send with a small amount of text in each message for it to go through. So annoying, for the client and for me. Plus the site is still not getting a subscription fee from that client. Me too @Wings246, me too. I’ll add that not only are they profiting on both sides, but providers lose business from would be clients who, for whatever reason, decide to move on instead of going out of their way to ask for access to private pics. Adding the barrier means I book fewer clients than I would without the barrier in place. Neither clients nor providers benefit from this system. Add to this dynamic that some providers are more guarded or even rude about sharing their pictures. I hear on these forums that some providers will block a client profile that has looked at their gallery a number of times without booking. I believe this behavior is foolish on the part of the provider. When someone is interested in you, you want them to stay engaged and keep considering hiring you. And if they are jacking off to pics, I see no harm. If anything, occupying that much bandwidth in their minds means they are more likely to consider booking services in the future. Knowing some providers are cagey about their pics, clients will probably not want to ask for private pics from other providers, expecting attitude, or to be blocked just for asking. Not all providers behave this way, but clients don’t know who is ok to ask. So they make assumptions and don’t ask. Consequently, they don’t hire as quickly, or as often as they otherwise might.
