I am really tired of these liars. Case in point. Aaron Marks of Vegas. Was interested in hiring him until I looked at reviews, noted his age on reviews as "20's" and then noted his first review was January of 2006. Just a case of stupid, idiotic and asinine claims of facts. His review of 5/24 really got to me. I know he is not the only one but given the money these guys charge, I am over these prima donnas.

Not so sure I place the “age shaving” blame entirely on the escort. Much of the client base focuses on age often seeking “younger” guys. A provider will choose to subtract a few years off his age to remain marketable to what is arguably a very fickle client base. Ageism cuts both was in this business.

There are circumstances where the age range gets absolutely absurd. I know of one DC provider who’s only aged three years out of the last fifteen years his ad has been running. I’ve met him at the DC Forum event and he does look younger than his years. I want this magical elixir he’s using to retard the aging process.

We’ve had clients rant and rave in this forum about providers over the age of 40 being too old. They can’t believe someone so “old” is in the business. There are several well known and highly regarded providers who are over the age of forty or fifty. These guys are amongst the best and have the experience and client base that makes the younger providers envious. One of my best hires ever was an a guy only one year younger than myself and I’m fifty-five.

Clients drive the age issues not the provider. There are clients seeking only younger twinks barely 21 years old. What’s a twenty-seven year old guy who looks way younger to do in this circumstance? List his true chronological age and eliminate half his marketable client base? Oh hell no. He’s going to “shave” six years off his age and claim to be twenty-one.

The only time this is problematic is when it’s years later and the twenty-seven year old is now thirty-four but has only aged two years on his profile.( Again, someone get me a vile of that magical elixir. Isabella Rossilini where are you? ;) )

As clients we are often seeking a fantasy, an idealized image of the young handsome athletic male. The providers are the ones making that idealized fantasy possible. In the process if they have to “shave” a few years off their age, so what?

Full disclosure. I have hired Aaron Mark. It was in Las Vegas about two years ago. He’s in his middle late thirties, still handsome, and a mediocre experience. I found him on an alternate site and hired him for much less than his listed fee on RM.

It' s not just escorts who use age shaving for business. I really resent pictures of real estate agents on For Sale signs that present the agent in his/her (usually her) many many years ago. With an escort we are buying body image. What does a real estate agent think is being sold?

A fixer-upper? :p

I would bet a month’s pay that this is an unintentional oversight on Aaron’s part. He is a fantastic guy and acertainly not a liar. I’m thinking he filled out a profile years ago and failed to update his. age. He was named an EOY for good reason. He visits Vegas from Germany a couple times a year. I strongly urge you to meet up with him if you have the chance.

Well on dating sites I've seen guys who put a fake age to show up in searches in the age field but then are upfront about their age in the text of their ad. I have no problem with that as long as the pictures are current.

Even clients lie about their age and body type to someone and they would like to hire as if they were trying to hook up with him online.

Chubby for instance is extended into other category...

Age is just a number! I don't go on age of boys here! It more about present state! That said age cannot be a leverage point by most boys who look older than physical age! I know boys who look younger than what their physical age is and it seems they don't age at all. So I take age as grain of salt!

Age discrimination is done way more to bottoms then tops. It's a fact that older tops have a much longer career then older bottoms.

It's kind of sad really as the bottoms work their whole lives to please their tops only cast out much too soon for something younger. Maybe because they think it's tighter.

It's called gravity.

IMO there's just a level of illusion to all of this, as there is in EVERYTHING when it comes to marketing and advertising in general. I think it's a bit naive to think of things like age shaving or slight adjustments to stats to be seen as "they're liars and theives!"

I mean, are you going to require a state or federal issued ID from every escort you hire before hiring them? Are you going to get out the tape measure as soon as you meet the person you're hiring, or have them immediately get on a scale? I'm not coming for you I'm just trying to challenge that perspective a bit.

These are just some random numbers I'm choosing so hopefully this doesn't end up being a bad example because I'm honestly not that great at judging things like height, weight or age myself...

BUT, let's say you decide to hire an escort based on their ad, which would involve a bit of text that tries to show their personality, stats, pictures, and maybe a video or two. If you read 26, 6'1, 170, 7", and like the profile text and the pics/videos... are you really going to notice once the escort shows up in person that they're actually 29, 6', 180, and 6.5" ? ESPECIALLY given that presumably their pics/vids are recent and 100% of themself?

Now obviously escorts can go way too far with falsifying information like that... but if it's incredibly obvious that should be a fair reason to turn them away, leave a bad review, and hope that they learn from the experience that they exaggerated themselves too far.

Is it really important that somebody has been in their 20's for 12 years? I had an Aunt that was 25 for 3 decades.

I consider myself to be in my 30's; That is until I actually go out with the younger men. At that point I'm content to sit in the rocking chair and read my book.

What often surprises me is to see an obituary with a photo of someone (more often women than men) who looks like he or she is in the prime of youth, and then read the text and learn that they passed at well beyond three score and ten years of age. We all like to be remembered at our most attractive.

Bottom line to me is this. Marks has not shaved a few years----more like .5 to 1 DECADE from his age. To each his own but a year or 2 is kind of ok in my books but 3 is overt deception and more is outright lying. That is my bottom line.

Maybe he’s a dyslectic 23?

To start with why do you hold boys for their age? Are you attracted to boys due to their age or looks and personality? Age is number! I would say get over it. I have seen guys in 42-46 to look like 30 and at same time 23 years looking 35!

Someone post a link for those of us on our phone! I'd like to be able to judge him myself, ty.

Usually don't mind age shavers if they can pull off representing the age they describe... what bothers me is when I see guys looking way older than me (37) & they're trying to claim that they're 28 or 29

I would say best to have just recent pics and no mention about age! If I like a boy/ man I don't ask age ( only I need that person to be of legal age!) A handsome, pleasant looking face is important than getting into age!
