On four vividly distinctive play sessions where I've gone to the lodging of the escorts, to my dismay-- three of the four had an extremely messy bedroom or area where the play was to have transpired. In each case the messiness of these guys impeded the time in which I spent with them. I still tend to think it’s all about the hotness of the guy involved. Fancy hotels do nothing for me, as I only really use a hotel for sleep, sex, showering, and clothes storage for when I’m visiting a city - it’s about the city. A hot guy can make any situation hot - whether it be jumping the fence at night at the local horse racing track to hookup with him, or hooking up with him in a cramped bedroom.

I've been to the actual dwellings (an apartment for one and house for the other) of two working guys. Both abodes were immaculately clean and organized. I have been invited to stay at a few others as guest (non working) should I find myself in their areas.

 

i don't mind messy as long as I'm comfortable. Now if the persons house smells like garbage or cat piss... I'll have a problem.

Its a challenge for me, as a suburbanite, to hire locals. I'm 30 min outside the city, longer in traffic. Local rentguys wont come here, even for outcall fee supplements. Bridge & Tunnel mindset, I guess.

This is an escort's work environment, and when a client arrives it's the same as a customer going into a restaurant that could use a cleaning. The food may be good and the work services and items clean, but a dirty dining area will make a customer weary. So even if it is not the case, a messy home/bedroom makes a bad impression and would sub-consciously make him wonder.

 

Check out how the hospitality industry talks about presentation of rooms - things should be clean and neat. They (like our escorts) make their money by having people trust in their cleanliness.

 

I see it like how an escort dresses when we meet. All of mine have looked put together - clean neat clothes. If I had one appear in a dirty shirt or whatever, it would be a turn off.

 

All of this excludes the clients desire for something special. I'm talking about what a default would be, not a specific request. I think I'd like to have a fratboy escort in a messy dorm room setting, for example.

Working out of my home has certainly turned me into a much cleaner and tidier person. The ambiance of my space is very important to me. If there is any clutter, it's behind closed doors. I have invested in high quality linens (sheets & bath towels) and they are always clean and fresh. I always have play towels stocked and ready. I have always rented a hotel room even in New York City. Just being reasonable seems like a bad idea to me when it comes to $$$ spent for sexual gratification.

Within obvious limits I like the feel of a "lived-in" space when I meet an escort at his home. I only do in calls to escorts and I'm in NYC. I have had the greatest sex in tiny apartments and a bit messy. The connection that was made between us made those places magical. Great memories. Unless the surroundings are truly awful, I wouldn't be affected. One time, I met Don Blueyes for an incall at his room at a Travelodge in the Mission District. Really seedy place, and I was having misgivings as I climbed the stairs to his room. But when I knocked, the door opened and there was Don, as magnetic as always. It was a great time. No regrets.
