I saw him exactly once and he was fine. I wasn't quite feeling it, but I will say that I am 6'3" and was ~310 lbs at the time and he gave no indication that was an issue(I have some muscle and carry reasonably well, but no mistaking I was fat.). But I do get the feeling his partying is taking a toll. And this response was just atrocious.

First, the original poster. I'm sorry that you're first escort experience was disappointing. I've been going at this for about 15 years now, and have had many fabulous interactions. Mind blowing sex, intense connections/conversations, and at least three transitions to relationships with the possibility of marriage coming up twice. Drama, love, happiness, heartbreak. Be prepared for a potential roller coaster, but a thrilling ride that I cherish!

 

Second, I hired Derek on Labor Day 2016. It was for a three hour session. As with many other reviewers, it was very positive. Great sex, though he did not get fully hard, as with you. I'm one of the "miserables"! Could that have been autocorrect? It reminded me of basket of deplorables. I would say that he was stuck in traffic, accidentally wine to the wrong hotel, and I might have considered cutting him a break on that a bit more than you appeared to have. For me, 25 mins of sex for an hour session is about average actually. Finally, I think it must be pretty rough at times to be on the delivering end of this business. I tend to be a pretty forgiving person. Walk in his shoes....that being said, he certainly didn't help himself with that pile of snark. Count to 10 before replying as my grandma taught me, Derek.

I agree with you broadly, and love the pizza analogy. I haven't been to Las Vegas, but I have been one who has defended Derek based on what I've read. (In science, literature reviews where someone writes a paper based on other analyses but without their own basic research, are an accepted type of study.) The comedy of errors wherein an offer of meeting earlier ended up being a meeting at the original time through his stuff-ups is more amusing than reprehensible. But still annoying. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of how the appointment went down, his 'deal with it' response is plain dumb. As I said, I ain't been there, but there are other gentlemen who I would pick first in LV regardless of how attractive Mr Atlas may seem. No shade on any others, but I'd start with the ever so delightful and friendly @peterhung85 and newbie @JoshATX . But I wouldn't say no to Derek.

My take on all this:

 

Derek was drunk the night before.

He was probably drunk, high, or otherwise still out of it the day of the appointment.

He was certainly drunk as a skunk or as high as a kite when he wrote his response.

 

(The last time that an escort went to the wrong hotel was when the Sheraton Manhattan and the Sheraton New York used to be located virtually directly across the street from each other on Seventh Avenue years ago. A silly thing for Sheraton to do, but they eventually sold the Manhatten and Sheraton was fortunately removed from the marquee.)

Escorts are humans. Agree with that. But so are clients. And to have so inhumane a response when the review is posted is the real issue here. Derek Atlas sells a product. He is the product. And in this case the product did not live up to the promise.

There were other reasons for disappointment, though, like time management, lying and a perfunctory session.
