Just curious to read others' opinions about this. In the process of doing a Google reverse image search of photos on a particular ad, in an effort to determine whether it was legitimate, I came across the mugshot of the individual in question. The record indicated an arrest for a violent crime.

Were you in my shoes, would you be deterred from hiring? And do you feel that in a forum such as this one that such information is pertinent to bring to other potential clients' attention? Where do we draw the line between respecting these men's privacy and protecting one another?

Let the big head make the decision for you, not the little head.

"Violent crime", not gonna get him alone with me.

I agree, I don't want people to think I'd put a physical attraction over my safety. I was more interested in the second question I put out there to be honest!

So let me get this right. In the process of reverse image you found his real name and then proceeded to search from there.

Depends on what the crime is though. The cops will usually arrest someone in a domestic dispute even though both parties are guilty. Then they'll be charged with assault. It could be as simple as slap across the face.

Case in point. I got arrested for assault. Me and a friend got in a fight while painting my room. I just took the paintbrush and painted the side of his face. Not much just a dab. Well, then he got mad and started throwing things at me. Cops came and we both were arrested for assault. I don't think that makes us dangerous though.

You're completely right! But, if we find a mug shot or arrest record, we don't really know all sides of the story. With so many choices out there, as a personal choice to me it would be a "pass". Exception would be if a known friend/poster vouched for the guy

I know a couple of escorts who have been arrested for what would be considered a "violent" crime. They happen to be THE BEST, hands down, of the escorts I know and also happen to be very well thought of here at Daddy's. I would be alone with them ANY TIME THEY WANTED!

It happened to come out in conversation - nothing to hide!

Same here. All depends on time and context.

What would rentmen or men4rentnow.com or any massage site's obligation be if they had a "criminal" on their site and somehow the site knew about it? I would imagine they would have some obligation if it was a sex offender or a rape charge?

+1

For me, it ultimately depends on the crime and how recently and frequently it occurred.

It's amazing the ways in which some will bend over backwards to make an honest inquiry into something judgmental and ugly. Nowhere did I confuse an arrest with a conviction, nor did I claim johns to be beacons of morality and public service. The difference between the john with a CR and the escort with one is that the latter is being paid handsomely for his time.

Having a criminal record means they got caught, that's all it means.

1 in 9 women are raped while serving in the military, how many of their rapists get a criminal record?

I would agree that each case is unique. One of the best escorts working right now, who is very popular here on the forum, with only many, many positive reviews on Daddy's Review page was arrested and convicted when he was quite young for assault, and it was quite a violent crime. I found this out after I had hired him and written my first ecstatic review of our session (which was amazing!)

Later on (I have continued to hire him) we discussed it and he was completely open and honest about the very personal demons he was dealing with in his life at that time. He told me that the year he was incarcerated for the crime made him grow up and begin to accept responsibility for the life decisions he makes. So though he is not proud of how he was then, he is grateful to have gone through the experience and become a much better person because of it.

I'm not saying you should hire escorts who are felons, just that not all men who have committed crimes remain hardened criminals. Some, such as in this particular case, grow up.

not only every case is unique but it also has different point of views about what happened. I'm glad to know the penal system still works in some cases and your friend recovered.

If it was a violent crime I'd pass unless I knew that the escort was arrested but ultimately not convicted. Even then I'd be leery.
