Rico, I may have misread the room, but I had the impression that most of us had no problem with your MO, some may have been miffed that they are too old, but resigned to knowing where they stand. You may not have been here for a while but you didn't need to. Any newcomers can read what you have already posted, and although they may want to engage you in yet another conversation, that wouldn't change the outcome. I can't think of any new questions they could raise.

True. Just as it is rare that any of my potential clients has a problem with my MO, it is rare that anyone on here does either. The only reason I shared a new thought on the subject is because someone new just commented on it. It still surprises me that anyone at all would take offense to the way I do things, but it hasn't had a negative impact on my business, so, as I said, it's all just theoretical.

I think it's the same concept of "microaggressions", e.g. someone advertising they don't accept people of a certain race. Members of that race will see it and move on but it still stings. That being said there are a lot of other posts in this thread that are interesting and those are the ones I was responding to primarily.

I've been corresponding with an 18 year old advertising on RM. His hourly rate is insanely low ($100 an hour - with the question, "with or without sex?"), but he won't discuss any further until I provide him with my age (on my RM profile), my name, and pics. He's indicated that all are required before we meet. Neither his pics nor his ID are verified on the site, and he's only been a regular member for a month. I know it's not a standard request, but is it best to walk away??

Sounds sketchy~ Agreed: run away fast and don't look back~

If he has an age or appearance prerequisite he needs to state that in his ad profile instead of shaming and discriminating against people thru correspondences~

The idea of discriminating against Clients who hire someone according the their age, apprearance, race, and the other human/civil rights considerations, etc is unprofessional and illegal in any profession~

This one should be no acception~

Sounds like the type of guy who will then google search your image and name to gather Intel on you. I had someone like this once in LA who wanted to know what kind of car I drove before he would confirm meeting me.. I told him I was in between cars but the bus line was nearby...never heard a word back :)

What kind of car you drive~? Ugh~ How disheartening to hear that someone would actually care and make that a condition of hire~

I would have been tempted to return the question and insist they answer by telling you what kind of car they drive, what neighborhood they live in, do they own or rent their home and what their educational background is before you are willing to hire them~

That's just me being a smart ass~

Why... Were they looking to buy it~?

Just saying...

It's crazy but someone is asking for pics from me for a massage....what kind of BS is that? His is excuse is so he can recognize me...I'm like your coming to my house and I'm the only one there! Didn't even ask for my real name! I just don't understand...I feel like someone that asks for pictures can definitely hold it over you later. Like I have pics of you asking me for my services...now give me $100 or I spill it to your family, employer and on social media. If you need a pic to do a massage...you better be implicit about your intentions and you need to at least ask for my name before you ask for the pic. It's like every other guy is asking for damn pics and info without putting themselves out there, like their real name, vers?, BB?, total fees, expectation from the experience. I asked him if he was Vers and he was like huh? Fuck that....I'm not doing all this for a massage. Unless there is explicit offering of something else, there is no need to go there. Do women do this type shit to their clients too?

It's nice that you can ask for age but all hell breaks loose, when I comment that I do as well. I wonder why they think you have a right to prefer older men. Shouldn't you also love

Good to know. Business has been going about as well as I would like, so I'm still not sure if there is any benefit to participating in this forum. So far only one of my clients has mentioned daddy's reviews so I'm not sure how that all works.

Though participating in the forum does increase clients for some of the providers, I am pretty sure their partipation is not for the sole purpose of increasing their business. I think your insights and perspectives have been valuable addition to this community. You are always happy to provide multiple perspectives and stand by then in a logical and thoughtful manner. I agree if your participation is for the intent of increasing business then probably not the best use of your time.

I would say participation has been a net positive for me.

If you mean, do women providers ask for info on clients before meeting them, then yes. You all (M4M seekers) get away with a lot in comparison. It seems standard practice that many male clients of female providers give employment info, references, and of course real names, among other things.

Yep.... it's like buying a house AND getting a job. I guess it works out but I'm surprised that guys go thru it.
