I have learned not to automatically assume that the unobtainable really are the unobtainable.

Personally, I think it's far too subjective to associate "high end" with a level of attractiveness. Men have been touted as "perfect" and "hot" etc. on here, I've looked them up and thought "meh".

 

I have also been around beautiful men and women who lose every ounce of their beauty the moment they open their mouth to speak. Conversely, I have friends who I think are outrageously hot because I know their character.

I'm finding that it's possible to do. A long time ago, Juan said that he can see the beauty in nearly any man. And I have thought about that a lot, ever since I read it. And I find it's true. The other day, at my gym, I was watching this guy - a fairly old guy, probably in his early 70's. I noticed that he didn't move like an old guy. His movements were those of a much younger man. I really enjoyed watching him, and he began to seem sexy to me. Enough so that I started getting a stiff one.... over a guy in his 70's.

Yes, to an extent--that's also been my experience. The "unobtainable" frequently rely so heavily on their looks that they are handicapped in other areas--and require our help and affections.

Newguy, I look at Simon Dexter and I think any NYC gym at any given time will have up to a dozen guys who are equally attractive; they're just not escorting. I think the thing is unlike many attractive women, attractive men aren't really socialized to/afforded the opportunity to get by SOLELY on their looks in quite the same way; so they usually get a job(and looks do certainly help men get ahead in their career, without the same glass ceiling women have). We are talking about a different breed. You are only focused on looks from a pic on an escort "catalog" site. I'm talking about something way different.
