Why congratulations? Escorts pay a fee to be listed as Rent man of the Day. Sorry to be a party pooper but it has nothing to do with anything other than paying the fee for that prime spot for an ad.

Did this change his status on Rentmen? I suspect not. That said, Alec is one of my all-time favourite guys on line, I would meet him here again in a heartbeat.

Well lets see, his overnight fee has increased to $1800 so that ad could be purchased more than 37 times and a profit would be made. Pretty high visibility at a reasonable price. A couple of thoughts. Not everyone pays to be Rentman of the day (RMOTD). I was RMOTD only 2 or 3 days after I posted my profile on the site, and I didn't pay for it. That said, I think 99% of the time it is a title that's bought. I can't imagine it can be that helpful - I keep seeing the same guys cycle in over and over and over. I would think if it were a move that garnered you some business, you'd be .... busy .... and not needing to pay to be RMOTD 3 or 4 times a week.

It is title that can be bought, unlike Daddy's Escort of the Year which which has never been accused of being for sale. However, it may achieved through endless wheedling and self promotion.

Did you contact him about it?

 

"Stiff" means so many things:

 

1) he didn't show up.

2) he cancelled at the last minute.

3) he didn't performed as promised.

I don't know anyone else's experience with Alec beyond what is stated on the forum or the review side. I can just speak on my experiences with him, which have always been outstanding and professional. He's always gone out of his way to make sure I had a good time.

 

For the men who stated Alec "stiffed" them (no pun intended), did you contact him and try to find the reason why?

 

Again I can't argue against what happened to you. I have had negative experiences with popular to somewhat popular escorts, but Alec has been a consummate professional imho.

I agree 100% with big-n-tall's post.

 

Thoughts:

1-Write a review and be out and open about the experience (and let the escort respond)

2-I have hired Alec for well over a decade multiple times including tonight :)

I have found him to be of the highest quality who has always put what I want first. I have written a couple of reviews about my experiences over the years and they are in the review section.

3-Alec has it all: good looks, desires to please the client, amazing sexual skills, intelligence, radiant personality, honesty, a total professional and one of the very best companies in the business.

Everyone is human, meaning that everyone has off days, everyone forgets about appointments, and everyone becomes overcommitted. I am a nice person, yet I have been guilty of all these faux-pas in my personal and even professional lives.

 

I am just an ageing, moderately successful professional, and so I can only imagine how these difficulties increase for a public figure (like Alec) who is suddenly an internet star and probably a service provider in great demand. GREAT demand. As several EOY stars have found, sudden popularity sometimes does result in forgotten appointments, last-minute cancellations, and rushed sessions.

 

So it is fine for posters to vent that so-and-so stood them up, but it appears to me that these accounts will not seriously undermine Alec's fine reputation. He is a buff Adonis who looks like his advertised pictures, is highly intelligent, has social and sexual skills way beyond those of most of us, and seems to be honestly devoted to providing good experiences to his clients.

 

On the other hand, the occasional gripe might be a wake-up call. Rising stars in this field should brace themselves for time and client management issues. There are some wise men on this Forum who might provide advice. Tristan Baldwin, whom I adore, might be a good source of insight.

So, that's the end of it. There is no case by case exception to that rule.

 

And yes, I have met him. He showed up. It was a satisfactory encounter, I personally would not repeat, but he wasn't a scammer or a ripoff- he is a really nice guy and I am glad I met him.

 

I fail to see the harm in someone expressing their disappointment that an escort did not show up to an appointment and I fail to see why they should be viciously attacked for doing so especially in a thread that should have never been started in the first place.
