What would you change about Daddy's Reviews or the forum in general? It could be small-scale or large-scale, inspirational or aspirational, serious or funny. This place is great overall, but I'm wondering if we can't start a small revolution and make it even better...

Good luck! The last time I advocated for change here I was the recipient of a sharply worded response from management. (It had to do with transparency regarding timeouts.)

As young Mr. Gaite will find out eventually, as you get older, change is not necessarily your friend.

I would like a listing of aliases. There was a time there was a type of AKA identifier but I have not seen that in a bit.

Mike,

This is probably best discussed directly with Daddy. It is my understanding that running this site is akin to something about cats and herding.

Daddy has put countless man-hours into the site. It might be best to appreciate what you have, rather than talk about what could be better.

Damn. All these dire warnings about soliciting ideas to change Daddy's. Kinda scary, sooooo...

I personally think Daddy's is absolutely the most perfect, of perfect, uncompromising, best of the best forum in the entire world......no, the Universe. I'm not kissing ass, either. :)

But really, some of us don't like a lot of changes.

I think Mike's question was excellent. This is a private club run by one owner, of course, not a democracy, so he can ignore the answers or cut of off the heads of the posters who suggest things he doesn't like. Making changes is a nuisance for him, and there may be specific changes that he would not want to make. But if the one thing which is off limits is discussion of the site itself, even when "respecting the business needs of this site, the legal framework within which it operates, and...common decency," then I'm not sure we have "the greatest possible freedom." (See "Our Goal" under "Terms and Rules," lower right of this page).

Note: I am not suggesting anything I would want to change, including the "Terms and Rules.".

OK, I'll go first!! :)

1. Give clients the ability to post reviews for no-shows. It's important to know if a guy has a habit of "blowing off" clients.

2. Give me a kick-ass title like some of y'all have. Here are my suggestions: Saucy Pedant, Word Nerd, Queen of the Daddyverse. (All right, that last one may be a bit of a stretch, but...)

That's all for now!

The responses here surprise me. Nothing is perfect, even Daddy's forum so nothing should be beyond comment. I don't see anything major that I think should change apart from people being able to say I'm a fool when I don't think I am. They should not be able to do that. We've all seen comments here that we wished had not been made and, on balance they are policed well. If anything I would say that people are banned too often for being forthright rather than being offensive. We can block people if we don't like what they say but that doesn't mean they should be cut off from the site. There are quite a few posters I refuse to read but that doesn't mean they should be banned!

This is a good idea. It's never happened to me but I can see that the inability to do this is a frustration. I can get that escorts are the focus here and what they say is the last word, but if they don't say anything, even to their clients, do they deserve silence in here?

guys

Daddy runs this as a service to pro's and clients - in short it is a mission

No money is changing hands - I can assure you that pennies earn on the banner ads (flirt, etc) do little to compensate him and the other volunteers running this place

Is this place "perfect" to know the answer

I am thankful for what we have

OK DERRIK, you're SAFE!

I guess I will propose semiannual fundraising drives for the website, akin to what NPR does, or the publication of lists of donors on the front homepage to encourage more donations, akin to what the Nifty Erotic Stories Archives does.

I have youthful optimism and refuse to be silenced. There are ways to make things better for everyone, including the people running this site. #YesWeCan

I would make a donation. Without any expectation that I become a customer or stakeholder or have any say in how the site is run.

I do it for Wikipedia every year and this site is much more useful and much more fun. :)

Wow.... I am really surprised that Mike's question could elicit so many fear laden responses. I think the site is good as is but any site can be improved as time goes on. I don't think Daddy or anyone who helps administer this site should consider suggestions for improvements as criticism. If we didn't like the site overall, we wouldn't be here. The only change/ improvement I would like to see is the ability to easily see all of a reviewers reviews. This would be useful. I know that a while back someone gave instructions on how to do this but I don't remember them.
