The other day I met someone that looked just like a well known escort and I was just about to tell him who he resembled when it occurred to me that this would probably not mean anything to him. So i simply said he look just like a fellow with whom i went to school.

No one has told me I looked like a famous person in a long time. In the mid-seventies I once had a plane held for me, (oh the days planes were held for someone) as they thought it was Mark Spitz running through the airport.

Have you ever been mistaken for a celebrity, if so, for whom?

Back in the '80's I was told numerous times I looked like Richard Gere. I obviously was flattered. Haven't seen much of him lately in any filmwork. Anyone know how he is holding up? As for myself, I may still look like him, although not if he has gone in for a lot of cosmetic surgery. I am aging naturally.

How the hell do they look so good with all that southern food around all the time. I'd love to help them "work off" that food.

P.S. JJK I found a perfect Paula Deen Thanksgiving ecard I sent, but I don't know how to post it

Most of my adult life, people in airports, malls, restaurants, etc. have confused me with the actor John Ritter (of Three's Company fame), which I used to think was cool. Now it's a bit eerie when someone thinks I'm him since he's been dead for years.

No one has ever confused me with a celebrity. However, I have a good friend who is a classical singer, and one time I attended one of his concerts with his brother. During the intermission, several people came over to us and said, to me, "You must be X's brother; you look exactly like him!" And I do, and his brother does not look at all like him.

That's funny Joe. Look on the bright side--at least they haven't yet started saying you like his dad, Tex Ritter!
