It appears there is a poster here who's sole purpose is to make a mockery of this august forum. From trashing escorts & massage therapists who he has never seen, nor ever will see. How about claiming a 'hot' time with a escort who most sane minded members find repulsive?

I understand where you're coming from but unfortunately this is not a democracy, nor a game show, but a privately owned Forum.

 

That being said, you are given the possibility, like in a primary school, to address your concern and remarks to the principal.

 

My best advice is to ignore the poster who you find repulsive. When he stops getting the attention he's looking for he'll go away.

Well I don't agree with the idea of voting people off the forum, but I do believe the situation we all find ourselves in with the individual in question merits further discussion. Frankly, the value and quality of the forum has deteriorated since his arrival. There are fewer informative threads and many more arguments and locked threads. I recently visited the competing forum (MER) and found out that it has become much more active since my last visit there six months ago. Could it be that people are abandoning daddy's cause they are tired of the BS from one idiot poster. Based on the number of PM's I have received from respected posters here, I know I am not the only one that is fed up with this individual.

 

What exactly do we do with someone that adds virtually nothing of any value to this forum, has offended almost everyone yet continues to post prolifically on most threads?? His contributions have been of such little interest yet so controversial that I believed he couldn't actually be real. I actually felt for some months that he was a "plant" by the administrators of this forum to create controversy. I'm still not convinced that it isn't the case.

 

I don't know what the answer is but I do know the forum is not a better place since his arrival. Quite the contrary.

Actually 2 of the 3 that are on my "ignore" list seem to respond to themselves or to each other and don't seem to elicit direct responses from other posters, so I just eliminate a lot of useless chatter. You should try the "ignore" feature on someone you don't care to hear from, it can easily be reversed if you think it interferes with following a thread.

For me, the ignore feature is nothing but a band-aid. Yes is saves one from viewing responses from ignored posters to a degree. However it still does not stop certain people from hijacking threads and changing the whole point of the discussion in the thread until it is all about them. Where are the consequences for the idiot poster that ruins the forum for many of the other legitimate posters? Is it ok and acceptable to all of us that so many of the threads get hijacked by one individual who actually has virtually nothing to contribute with regards to escorts & strippers?

Jack, do people do that? I thought it was just a tale that some folks post under many names. But glutes is glutes. I like his sense of humor. He is the master archivist for the site, always knowing how to find old threads. But, to be fair, I do not understand his obsession with BN. But I would sure pick glutes to stay on the island. As pleasant as that would be, OS, I'm far too lazy to bother.
