Oh, that one! Yes, I have been there. It's quite a party. Everyone getting along and stuff, still having fun together. So yes, I do know that one. I won't give the link then since I know it, but if someone doesn't know how to get to maleescortreview, send me a pm and I will tell you all about .com and then give you the link itself. Try it, you might like it. But don't abandon Daddy's. We like to have this site up and flying as well.

Although voting someone off has some appeal, it is probably not worth the effort and could easily open a can of worms. The bottom line, at least for me, is that this is Daddy's sandbox and he ultimately decides who will be allowed to play in it or not. He has provided plenty of suggestions/options to deal with "trolls" (ref the link to the other thread mentioned previously) as well as the ability to block people. As individuals (and I guess collectively if we were so inclined to be that organized), we can follow the options available to us. If the poster who is offending many people has violated terms of service, both egregiously and repeatedly, then making a case to Daddy to suspend or ban the person is a viable approach as well. Whether he decides it reaches the level of suspending or banning is his and we live with it or decide to find another sandbox to play in.

Glutes, you're a valuable contributor here, but I have to wonder if this isn't another case of you trying to stir things up. You have a habit of needling people and slipping in irrelevant digs at your obsessions in threads that have nothing to do with them.

And when you talk about trashing escorts you've never met - I can't help but remember your posts that a certain never-met escort had no teeth. I also wonder if you ever met your 2 primary obsessions.

 

As for your reference to an 'escort who most sane minded members find repulsive' - that's both judgmental and another comment on someone YOU haven't met.

I think comments abouts escorts appearance is fair game. I dont think you really need to meet a person to comment on their looks or have an opinion. As far as their performance, hygiene, etc, makes the most sense when having actually met the escort. Otherwise its hearsay or speculative gossip. "Harrassment" of members because of their "choices" is not only childish but Unnecessary, and quite different from merely having an opinion about the persons appearance.

I'll concede that you don't need to meet someone to have an opinion about their appearance. But I think you can express that personal opinion in a civil and non-confrontational manner.

 

Assuming you feel the need to comment on someone else's object of desire, consider these different ways as examples:

 

1. Sorry - not my type.

 

2. I like my men more mature and with more meat on their bones.

 

3. Sorry- I don't get into guys who look like refugees from a boy band.

 

Comments 1 & 2 express your opinion without criticising the escort or, implicitly, the tastes of the original poster.

Seeker, your points are certainly well recevied and respected, however "expression" is a very individual thing, and no 2 people respond the same way, nor should they. Certainly everything is open to a disagreement, and thats the beauty of living in a country with Free speech. Your choice #3 is certainly just a different way of expressing 1 and 2, and may be said tongue in cheek. Noone should really be that thin-skinned that they would be offended by comment #3, because as you might atest, far worse things are said about people on a daily basis. Doesnt make it right, but this is not a crusade to "right" all the wrongs" in the world. Merely a sharing of diff opinions and styles. Nasty comments that are repetitive and serve no purpose other than to satisfy the "commenters" need to make them or be vindictive is a WHOLE other issue, and that is when it borders on harassment..

JJJK, I'm goiing to have to disagree with you here - I think comment #3 (which I did tone down a bit), carries content/attitude not found in the first 2.

 

As before, I think we differ on what constitutes 'respectful', and I think one aspect of that is acknowledging that not every one's skin is the same thickness.

I'll totally agree with that statement, but you are never gonna change the world.... People are who they are.... I believe there is an expression "Leopards dont change their spots ".... Kinda rings true.... But as long as 2 people can have a civil and respectful conversation about their disagreements, then then might be some progress in sight ?

This started when a poster took great offense to having his thread hijacked by another poster who chose to be more snide than helpful. The latter is the poster whom glutes wants to vote off the island. I think he is venting more than thinking it it will seriously happen. It does give the opportunity to remind folks of good manners in case they have slipped.

Anyone who reads these threads knows that I am the person Lucky. There is no reason to be coy. And since you dont know me, before you comment about me, you should understand why the post was made. I just dont go around making snarky comments at people for No reason.

Before jumping on the wagon and taking sides, you should know Both sides of a story. Glutes campaign is NOT about a singular thread. Its the culmination of another one of his obsessions. And you guys call yourself a "fair" group. Not so much ! Every criminal gets his day in court.

Sorry to be late to this thread. I must admit that my enjoyment of the forum has been reduced the last couple of months by the tone some of the threads evolve into. I used to read the forum for entertainment and to leisurely unwind after a day a work. Now it is a 'drive through' visit.

 

And some of the guys whose posts I enjoyed reading have stopped posting. While I know that the nature of message boards like this are transient in nature, the drop off in the quantity of posts and topics presented feels to me to be more than coincidence.
