Things can get funny on social media, for both intended and unintended reasons. This comment was made on a Facebook post of a world map that had Japan messed up in how it was shown:

While I'm here, there are two Twitter profiles I get much joy from. They are both parody or satire accounts, both reasonably funny, but both have hilarious comments where people take what they say seriously.

The first is https://x.com/3YearLetterman @3YearLetterman. It's been around for ever (2017) and is deep satire, the person behind it declined even to comment for a NY Times piece in 2020 (https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/1725312/2020/04/06/3yearletterman-background-youth-football-coaching-legend/ ) and stays completely in character all the time. The comments calling him out as if he were a serious person are funnier than his posts themselves.

The other is https://x.com/RepJackKimble the Republican US representative for CA-54. He says. (Spoiler: CA has 52 districts, but had 53 until 2020.) He too, is taken seriously.
