I have become very reliant on ChatGPT to give me reliable answers on various topics ranging from stereo speakers to discerning the best times to travel to various locales (cost-wise, weather-wise, etc). So, it got me to wondering whether "AI"could help in my never-ending pursuit of the hottest (and "best" -- because IMHO the "hottest" are usually not the "best") gay escorts. I did a cursory search of this site on the topic with no results. So, just for fun, here's what AI says about finding the top male escorts (and, spoiler alert: no big surprises - but maybe it will spark some discussion):

Who are considered to be the top male escorts in the United States?

There isn’t a universally accepted “top male escorts” list in the U.S. because the industry is largely private, decentralized, and often operates through agencies, personal branding, or invitation-only referrals rather than mainstream rankings.

That said, a few names and platforms are widely recognized in media coverage, luxury-companion circles, LGBTQ nightlife, and online escort directories for reputation, visibility, or exclusivity:

RentMen — One of the best-known male companion directories in the U.S., especially in gay and bisexual markets.

Rentboy (historical) — Before it shut down after a federal case in 2015, it was arguably the most famous male escort platform in America.

Companion listings on Slixa — Commonly cited in discussions of upscale independent escorts.

ManServants — More entertainment-oriented (events, parties, “boy toy” experiences) rather than traditional escorting.

In terms of individual escorts, the people most often regarded as “top tier” tend to be:

-- high-end independents in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Chicago

-- escorts with celebrity clientele or influencer-level social media followings

-- men specializing in luxury companionship/travel rather than explicit sexual services

-- well-reviewed companions on vetted platforms

Among affluent clients, qualities that usually define “top” include:

  -- discretion and professionalism

  -- physical fitness/grooming

-- conversational ability and social polish

  -- reliability and screening practices

  -- ability to travel internationally

A lot of the most sought-after male companions are intentionally low-profile and operate by referral only, so they don’t publicly market themselves at all.

If you want, I can also break this down by:

  -- luxury/high-end companions

  -- escorts popular with women

  -- gay male escorts

  --- celebrity-famous escorts

  -- safest/vetted platforms

-- major-city scenes (NYC, Miami, LA, Vegas, etc.)

-- legal considerations in the U.S.

Who are the top gay male escorts?

There’s no official ranking system for “top gay male escorts” in the U.S., and many high-end companions deliberately stay anonymous for privacy and safety reasons. Publicly known names usually come from reality TV, adult entertainment, luxury-companion marketing, or escort-award circuits.

A few of the most recognizable names associated with the U.S. gay escort scene over the years include:

Rocco Steele — One of the best-known luxury escort figures to cross into mainstream gay adult fame. He openly discussed using Rentboy and won escort-industry awards.

Jimmy Clabots — Became widely known through the Showtime series Gigolos, which followed male escorts in Las Vegas.

Michael Lucas — More famous as a producer and entrepreneur than an escort specifically, but long associated with elite gay nightlife and luxury companion culture.

Max Konnor — Better known today as an award-winning performer and creator, though often discussed in high-end gay companion circles online.

The most sought-after gay male escorts in major U.S. cities today are usually:

  -- independent rather than agency-based

  -- referral-only

-- active on platforms like RentMen or invitation networks

-- branding themselves as “companions,” “travel partners,” or “luxury hosts”

Cities most associated with high-end gay escort markets:

  -- New York City

  -- Los Angeles

  -- Miami

  -- Las Vegas

  -- Chicago

If you want, I can also give you:

-- the most famous escort websites/platforms

  -- “luxury companion” agencies

-- top cities for the gay escort scene

-- differences between independent escorts vs agencies

  -- safety/red-flag advice

-- famous escorts from TV/porn/social media specifically.

What a brilliant idea! I’d love to set up my AI to scour RM for my type/new talent, as well as review sites for scammers/pros, then communicate with book them flight/hotel/and all, or red flag them.  Anyone set up to do this, send me ur instructions and experience!

Also, agree 💯 with

-- discretion and professionalism

  -- physical fitness/grooming

-- conversational ability and social polish

  -- reliability and screening practices

  -- ability to travel internationally

I’d remain cautious. You never know how quickly information inputted into ChatGPT can be used to identify you, and you never know which authorities are in partnership with OpenAI (such as the Trump administration, which isn’t very pro-sex work, surveillance companies like Palantir, etc).

Even with a privacy guarantee, I do believe that OpenAI can be tipped off to messages it deems “very concerning”.

per a search:

automated moderation systems constantly scan inputs and outputs, and conversations that trigger safety thresholds are immediately flagged. [12]
When an inquiry is flagged, it bypasses standard privacy filters and undergoes a stricter review process: [1]

What Happens to Flagged Chats
  • Human Review Escalation: Flagged conversations are sent to specialized pipelines where a trained team of experts and contractors manually review the text.
  • System Logging: The flag is permanently logged to your account. Even if you delete the chat or use "Temporary Chat," OpenAI retains logs of policy violations for safety and compliance purposes.

If you must, I wouldn’t enter personal information about specific people. Even inputting the website repeatedly suggests it’s a site of illegal activity that some government arm (like the trump administration) must crush.

Also, depending on where you live, prosecutors might be hungry to charge folks. The recent raid in northern Florida is crazy. Innocent folks who just wanted fun being charged with a permanent record.

I would strictly interact in incognito mode, if at all engaging in discussions about *** for money. I would also never ever input the exact stage names of particular providers. That puts them and you at risk.

let’s keep prevent rentmen the website from being in the crosshairs of the government, and let’s keep providers and you safe from an OpenAI inquiry/investigations/charges

Heavily agree with @Johnnyroad. You really really do not need AI for this. At the very least, if you have to off load your own thinking/research that badly, use a service that is offline/local/on-device, because as Johnnyroad explained. The online chat bots are all regularly scanned and some inputs get flagged for investigation and can be used against you in court.

I understand that Prudence is a virtue, but I suspect that if the government wanted to go after any discussion of hiring escorts they would have more than enough "material" from this site already. But, thanks for your concern.

Of course, but that doesn't mean you should give them more of that "material" and increase the odds they decide to act if they feel it's an increasing problem. Use your brain (rather than ChatGPT).

It's similar logic to why "why should i care about my privacy they already have my data" is stupid. We all make new data every day, and they want more of it to maintain a current profile of you, the apathy is a win for them and lets them freely collect more when people actually have the ability to cut them off if they took privacy even a little bit seriously.

This is true, and does not make entry of escorting inquiries into chapgpt on an account with an email link able to you any safer.

It also certainly does not protect the providers whose names you repeatedly enter into ChatGPT. Reviews, writing (given vpn techniques) accusations of dangerous behavior, and etc could get flagged, putting providers at risk, and possibly putting you at risk if your ChatGPT account email identifies you or if an investigation ends up recovering your phone number which you used to contact said person.

A national government inquiry, by the way, isn’t even the biggest risk.

There are local raids happening all the time. With men who offer to sell *** being charged, and men who offer to buy it being charged. As recently as last month, there was one such infamous raid in Florida leading to hundreds of arrests of people seemingly accused of nothing but wanting to buy or sell ***. Faces posted for the country to see. You never know when attention on male escorting will ramp up.

EVEN less than 24 hours ago in a place where I used to live near:

WFLA News reports: 25 ARRESTS: Law enforcement in Jacksonville Beach arrested 25 people accused of using online websites to solicit or offer prostitution, according to authorities.

Note that only 2 were deemed human trafficking victims. : The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it worked with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department to communicate with people online “who were looking to pay for sexual acts.”

That was their explicit goal.

ChatGPT's answer doesn't really give any new leads on finding escorts, though Slixa has a collection of female escorts in most cities.   We've discussed before the dodginess of MintBoys and Seeking, the difficulty of finding appropriate hires on Grindr and Sniffies, and that Craigslist and Backpage are shadows of what they once were, so other than through recommendations and private networks (including this site!), RentMen is the only real option in the US.

If that's true, then the RM search function can do almost anything AI can do.  If you have a type, you can enter his characteristics in the search and see what you get.  If you don't like the results, you can fiddle with your inputs to see type-adjacent escorts in case one of them tickles your fancy.  If I am thinking of hiring in a particular city, I can usually in a few minutes do a very effective search of escorts who appeal to me and deserve closer inspection, about 10% to 15% of the profiles.  In that context, AI isn't the miraculous time saver it should be, especially when you think about how much info you have to give it to really know your type.

Save AI for choosing stereo speakers and vacation planning.  (I use it to help me repair broken appliances in my home.)  Leave this hobby to your own devices.

And I thought that it was too much seeing people praying to ChatGPT! The information returned by AI is a generic just as the Internet is. I didn't learn anything new from what you posted. It seems like it took these threads and summarized them for you.

Personally, I am not fond of using AI for any aspect of my personal, especially hiring. Aside from bias, inaccuracies (what they call hallucinations), security and privacy issues, I just don't see the point of using that tool that way.

I am also on the side of those who think that it is not as private and safe as it looks. I know that was just for fun, I'd be cautious too.
