If you think your services are worth more than your quoted price, why not raise it? I'm more likely to tip someone I've seen more than once, especially if it's over a few months or more than a year, since they generally don't raise their rates. But when someone sets their own price and keeps it all, a tip seems unnecessary. I'm also more likely to tip someone who charges a lower rate ($350/hour) than someone who charges $500/hour. The latter, I'm hard-pressed to consider hiring, as my experience is that providers charging that much tend to be less skilled and less fun than those in the $300-$400 range.

the question asked was 'do providers prefer a nice time, or a nice tip'. not whether tips are good/bad/worthy.

You didn't answer my question. And you're not a moderator, so buzz off.

If you quote my comment I am going to reply.  I don't have to 'answer your question' because it was completely irrelevant to the discussion.

unless you are paying me, don't tell me what to do.

It’s funny how some people have a problem with me tipping my providers for what I consider to be good service but my providers seem to appreciate it cause they are always down to connect with me and often give me a nice break on the rate cause they know they’re going to get extra if they make a bitch happy and i aint remotely mad about that

To be fair, the counterpoint to enjoyment might warrant “combat pay” in which case I would expect that the base price would be increased for the second visit….tip or no tip

Hey, hey ... No one is mad about you tipping 😘

But I never really go into an appointment thinking 'this person will probably tip me well.' If you're meeting with the same provider a second time, though, it's like you're starting to become a regular. Regulars get VIP treatment for sure. I know I'm repeating myself here, but it really matters way more than a tip.
