+ Gar1eth Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I'm gay-in case anyone had any doubts. Large lips on a woman do nothing for me-actually large lips on a man don't do a lot for me either. I hope it's not an expression of dislike for myself as my lips are on the larger side. (For a possible medical explanation -see below). But a reel popped up on FB-with two women. And I was just struck by how much I disliked the thicker lips. So I thought I'd ask-which do y'all like better? I prefer the picture on the left. Ok medical time for those who might be vaguely interested. It's possible my lips were going to be on the thicker side naturally, but--- I had a bad overbite as a child. They determined it was due to a tongue thrust. My tongue wasn't in the correct position in my mouth. Where the normal tongue arches up and hits the cavity in the roof of the mouth, mine somehow made more of a u-shape. The back portion I think was up, the middle portion was down like the 'u' and then the tip pressed against the back of the teeth on top with enough force that my upper jaw had moved forward. Before I could get braces they said I needed myofunctional therapy (tongue therapy) otherwise once the headgear and braces were off everything would go back to the way it had been. I probably saw the myofunctional therapist for over a year. She had her own office One of the exercises I did was to -I suppose strengthen my lips. It was called Tug-of-War. There was a string. On each end of the string was a button. I would put one of the buttons in my mouth -behind my lips but in front of my teeth. Then I would close my lips tightly. Someone (often myself) would then pull on the string making the button pop out of my mouth. Or possibly two people could play. (I was 11 and 12. I don't remember exactly). And a person could put the button on the other end into their mouth. And we'd pull against each other. So voila -lip resistance training. It's probably the most resistance training I've ever done and also the one with the most effect. big-n-tall, + claym and marylander1940 2 1
Nightowl Posted October 14 Posted October 14 So many women ruin their appearance by getting their lips “done.” Cher is a prime example. thomas, + Gar1eth and + Pensant 3
wsc Posted October 14 Posted October 14 There was a young (20-something) in my eye doctor's office and who did some tests and measurements on me; it was impossible not to look at her lips. They were the personification of "bee-sting lips" and were ghastly! If her goal was to have people stare at her with morbid fascination and degrees of revulsion, wondering why on earth someone would do that to themself, she succeeded. + Pensant, + claym, thomas and 2 others 1 2 2
jeezifonly Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Naturally full lips often make for a better kissing experience, although other negatives in hygiene and poor technique might counter the physical advantage... ShortCutie7 1
+ Gar1eth Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 We probably don't have any straight guys on here to give their opinion, but I'd really like to maybe hear from those of you on the more bisexual side of things how you view bee-stung lips.
Becket Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Well....since you asked.......From a bisexual point of view.....(well, mostly bisexual......haha)......bee sting lips do nothing for me. IMHO natural lips are much more sexy. + Gar1eth, Nightowl, + Pensant and 1 other 1 2 1

Yeah, I prefer full lips for both kissing and other oral experiences 😈. (To clarify, naturally full, not bee-stung or artificial looking.) + Just Chuck Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I can’t remember a set of naturally large lips that I found unattractive. But, when people get cosmetic surgery, they often overshoot what I find attractive. I remember being on a trip with someone who’s botox treatments left them with a permanently stunned/surprised facial expression. Flat-chested women often skip right past B, C, and even the normal range of D cup boobs and have the surgeons give them cartoonish giant DD+ boobs. Men don’t get as many cosmetic surgeries, but I’m sure there are parallels. wsc and BSR 2

I see bodybuilders male and female who overshoot an attractive muscular but still natural-looking physique. Some take muscle growth to extreme non-natural looks. wsc and BSR 2

Back in the day when there were nude dancers in some of the DC bars, several were body builders who would sometimes bulk up to what they considered competition condition. Naturally well-muscled with low body fat was very attractive, but the bulked-up rendition was, to me, decidedly not attractive and seemed to me a sort of body dysmorphia, akin to an 85-pond woman who constantly diets and purges because she sees herself as fat. Both seem to me to be demonstrative of some form of psychosis. + Just Chuck 1

I did a similar exercise in which I would put a long piece of spaghetti in my mouth and in the mouth of my dog and then we would pull the spaghetti in using our lips to see who reached the middle first. Disney stole this. I soon discovered that the combination of lip movements and sucking really gets the noodle moving. Edited October 15 by purplekow marylander1940, liubit, + Gar1eth and 1 other 1 3

There were these discs with a hole in the middle that were made of some polymer. The discs were supposed to be the weight of a marshmallow. There was a thick cord with a knot on the end. You would drop the disc down on the cord, and it would be stopped by the knot. I would nibble on the cord using my lips to draw the cord into my mouth. As I got better at it, we would add more discs to the cord.
