I've decided to only hire a local regular I've seen for years. His rate is reasonable (partly locked in) and he's professional and honest (things highly suspect in travelling escorts).

I texted a traveling escort more than two weeks before his arrival in Palm Springs.  He responded with a price list, no other acknowledgement.  Hourly rate was $400. I suggested $700 for two hours. He replied "2 hours would be $800".  I replied, have a nice time in Palm Springs.  He texted me back several hours later and said he would do it for $700.  I told him I was open at any time he was available.  He hesitated to name a day and time.  A few days passed and then a few more.  After a week, I texted saying I was just checking in and that Friday any time would be great for me.  He was arriving on Thursday.  He replied, Thursday the 16th would be good.  Thursday was the 14th and so I texted back either Thursday or the 16th would be fine and that I would check back in a few days to confirm.  After another 5 days, making 3 texts in more than two weeks, so not excessive, I told him anytime on Saturday is fine but I am with my trainer from 4 to 5 on Thursday, so whatever would work for him.  It had gotten too close to the appointment with the trainer to cancel on him.  This is two days before his arrival.  He replied that "ha! it would have to be after that".  I did not respond, I never heard from him again and I spent the $700 on some other birthday self indulgence and a donation to my cock jar.
