This is kind of a silly question but do you find that some providers have just too many pics in their ads? For me the answer is, yes. I enjoy looking at photos of a good looking guy but every now and then I find myself wondering when do they end and it starts to become a bit of a turn-off. I start thinking "Okay, get over yourself" and then start to think that they guy might be a bit too cocky or arrogant upon meeting. I know I shouldn't pre-judge but it is something that goes through my mind.

So I ask, can a provide share too many pics in his ad or am I just being ridiculous?

If  the pictures are similar, I would say there’s such a thing as too many.  A whole slew of “posed” pictures leave me cold and 25 pictures of the same body part can be boring.  I usually get all the information I need to decide whether to hire based on the first few pictures in the ad.  If the provider selects them well, he’ll grab my attention.

Yeah, I would say that a well curated group of pictures is good.  I don't really need to see 25 pictures of your cock or your hole, but if you are advertising as a top or bottom, feel free to include a couple.   I do chuckle when someone advertises as "Top Only" and then shows 20 picture of his hole or positions that would be ascribed to a bottom.  Show the full body...chest, back, ass, legs, etc.  It's nice to be able to see those parts and hopefully they are not photoshopped to the point that its evident in real life that you did it (for example, if you have really bad acne on your back due to steroid use and you smooth over all the pictures on the site, be prepared to be called out in person).

Face and head pictures that are recent are very important to me.  Facial hair and hair in general can sway me to hire or not hire.  If a provider elects not to provide one on the site, I may ask for one.  If he declines, he should be prepared for a litany of questions about facial and head hair, length, look, color, etc.

I typically always ask "any physical or cosmetic changes from your pictures on line?"   I learned this one when a provider that I saw as very attractive on the site showed up with bright green hair (drapes and carpet) that he had died for a St. Patrick's Day party.  It honestly was not a good look for him and I had to pass.  Shallow maybe...but I did not sign up to hire Lucky the Leprechaun.

Pictures don't need to be professional...but give it an effort to show off what you are advertising.  It helps in the decision making.

Finally, keep em current.  Some providers have had the same pictures for 8-10 years....(talked about in many places on this site)...or they just keep adding to them (and I have to sort through current body type, hair color, style, facial hair, etc).    If I want a retrospective, I will ask.

I don't think so. We do have the choice of stop watching them is we want. We don't have to see every single one of them. It's that simple to me. That said, I'm more annoyed with them having the same picture presented many times, or variants of it (cropped, recolored, etc.). That annoys me more. Still, I can just stop looking at them. That's not a big deal to me, but it's ok if it is to others.

I get that everyone has preferences, but this feels like a non-problem. If someone posts a lot of pics, just scroll past if it’s too much for you. Some guys use photos to show versatility, professionalism, or simply because they know different clients are drawn to different vibes. It’s not necessarily about arrogance—sometimes it’s just marketing. If the pics don’t appeal, there are plenty of others to check out. Problem solved.

It's absolutely a non-problem which is why I stated upfront that it's a silly question. It's not a topic I lose sleep over but definitely curious as to what other think. Just like candy, I like it, but at some point enough is enough . . . at least for me.

It can be redundant. Plus, even if the pictures are each uniquely enticing- it’s disadvantageous to the provider. Some guys will get off/masturbate from your pics and never contact you because they got their fill/satisfaction already.

It's hardly the biggest issue with looking at a provider's ads, but I think that having too many pictures is distracting.  When I look at a profile, I'd like to see the provider's physical features, so his face, his torso, his ass and his package.  A couple of photos of each is more than sufficient.  If he specializes in a fetish, then maybe a photo or two depicting that is useful.  BUT, I don't need to see the provider's travel snapshots.  Pics of him standing in front of the Eiffel Tower or the Golden Gate Bridge do nothing for me and do nothing for him, as they're midrange shots that don't really show the provider as clearly as a close-up.  If I'm interested in a provider, I'll look through all his photos, but it can get boring.

From the provider's perspective, I would think that he wants to get his value proposition across to the client faster than it takes for the  client to scroll through 20 or 30 photos.  A few photos that gives the viewer a good idea of the provider's physical characteristics is all that's necessary.   Editing dozens of photos down to a handful of attention-grabbing ones would improve the ad's effectiveness.

I don’t have an issue with the number of photos per se, it’s more about the quality and variety. When there are a bunch of pictures that are all nearly identical, often from the same photo session, it doesn’t add much. Overly edited or filtered shots, poor lighting, or ones wearing hats and sunglasses. Then there are travel pics where the background takes up 75% of the frame. Speaking of backgrounds, I’d also rather not see messy rooms or bathroom counters cluttered with toiletries.

OH...thats the stuff I like to zoom in on...it tells me soooo much more about the person....their tastes, are they frugal or a splurger, are they organized or a mess....do they take 2 minutes to clean off their mirror or do they take the picture with toothpaste spots on it.   What medications do they take....legal or otherwise. Do they say "No" to smoking but have 2 or 3 bongs in the background.

A look behind the curated image.

it’s bad marketing.  leave him wanting more

Too many photos sends a negative message, especially if they are similar photos from the same or similar shoot. Editing is a talent. So is presentation, except presentation is more of a strategy.

On rare occasions, a guy can be extremely photogenic, and creative photographers can supply unique, sexy shots, without repeating the same story. It's a fun viewing when that happens.

I gotta say, I am not a fan of selfies taken in bathrooms or gym locker rooms. Selfies tend to be low quality anyway, although, mobile phone cameras are just fine quality-wise; it helps (if you're not getting professional photos) to invest in tripod and remote camera button so you can take photos of oneself from a distance. I like seeing clothed and unclothed photos with more natural or candid photos of the person in different moods. I like to know what someone really looks like, not just when they're posing to show off the goods.

B.I.N.G.O!!!  This profile totally represents what I was referring to. It's like "Enough dude. I get it. I can see that you admire yourself. No more convincing required that you are nice looking. Now put the phone down and focus on something else." 😬
