C-Guy Posted May 8 Posted May 8 (edited) I'd like to hire live-in help. "Houseboy" duties, yeah, but also someone who will do actual work beyond that housework, yardwork sorts of stuff, and I want to pay a fair wage. Finding such candidates seems impossible. The two websites "houseboy" and "houseboi" and similar are useless-just disguised porn sites or full of fakers and game players. I had ads up for months, got dozens of hits but every one was a fraud, fake, flake, liar, or just wanting to hookup for pay. Anyone have any ideas for finding a real guy willing to do real work? I live in a very rural area I don't have the options a large city would offer. Contrary what you'd think, Its nearly impossible to hire anyone for anything at any price, let alone anything remotely gay. That's why I'm looking to hire a full time HB type from some other locale. Thanks Edited May 8 by C-Guy providing additional info

For live in help, expect to pay at least $109K per year ($300/day), with a rotation of 2 people to provide days off, and that's without employment for sex, nude housekeeping, etc. You may want to consider hiring separate people for each task. Hire a housekeeper who comes daily for 2 hours, a landscaper who brings a team weekly for 2 hours, a pool boy who stops by 3x per week to address the pool, and then an escort for companionship twice a week. You'll pay less, and get more actual work done than a single person ever could + Pensant, dcguy20, whatdoidowiththisagain and 7 others 2 3 5

A friend once let a young gentleman live in his small garage apartment in exchange for a weekly escort experience and some occasional household chores (mostly grocery shopping and running errands). It worked well until it didn't, and then my friend had a difficult time getting rid of his tenant. maninsoma, + DrownedBoy, + Vegas_Millennial and 1 other 3 1
+ DrownedBoy Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Rural areas suck - that's all I can say. You'd had to pay a lot to get a decent guy to move in with you. If you want more "gig guys" you'll need to live closer to somewhere interesting. Luv2play, marylander1940 and + Charlie 2 1

If I lived in a rural area, I would try to open a men's nudest campground and then use that money to hire live in help for the camp ground + Charlie 1

If you want more "gig guys" you'll need to live closer to somewhere interesting. On the contrary, I have a friend who owns some land in rural Louisiana. He lives in the main house with a pool. He rents his smaller house next door to a single straight guy, who's allowed to come over and use the pool. The two of them swim naked together, and now the straight guy is a regular blow buddy. Plus, my friend finds all the horny truckers passing through town and need a quickie, and my friend is happy to oblige. For me, both rural and urban have their benefits. It's the suburbs that's really purgatory. Nothing's convenient enough to walk or transit, yet homes are too close together to allow naked pool parties against the woods 🎉 Edited May 9 by Vegas_Millennial + DrownedBoy, Km411 and + Charlie 2 1

I have a housekeeper clean once a week, a landscaping team come once a month, a pest control man come once a month, and hire massuers and escorts a la carte. When I retire and spend more time at home, I'll likely have the housekeeper come twice a week, an experienced pool guy every week, and then find good looking eye candy to come twice a week to lightly "clean" the pool in his speedos or naked, and then do a household chore or two naked. I could never afford to hire a full-tine live-in caregiver or a stay-at-home spouse 😉 and still maintain my lifestyle + Charlie 1

Sometimes there are young people in the congregation who need work and/or want to leave the family home but are without funds. I haven’t looked to hire someone this way, but I have been approached 2x by people asking me if I’m looking for staff. Generally, I very much agree with @Vegas_Millennial on this. It’s much better to employ several people for specific jobs and tasks. Consider how problematic if it might be if you employ someone who doesn’t work out as an employee and then you have to fire them…and of course, then change your locks and alarm codes, and where you store your valuables etc. + Vegas_Millennial 1

Around Chicago, there's a lot of out-of-the-way places, and all you have to do is hop on Metra to get around. I am working on a retirement budget that will allow me....ample help when I get older, but I need to wait and see. The world will be much different.
