RentMasseur Rejected my review

Is there a new policy from the rentmasseur website that one has to communicate with the provider via their site in order for them to accept a review? I reviewed a masseur I hired last night and my review was rejected, and the reason it stated is "No communication between masseur and client via RentMasseur".

First time I see this.

Did I miss a change in policy? I haven't used that website in a while.

I've been on for a year, and yes there must be a communication.   Even if you only say hello to each other.

You can still write a review, but first click on the button to contact the masseur. Be sure you’re logged in so they’ll have record of that. They won’t know whether or not you actually called the masseur, but that’s enough for them to accept a review. You may need to fib on the date of the session so it’s at least the same day or later from when you initially contacted.

good info from @nate_sf

a provider I've met with many times and I only communicate, by now of course, thru direct texting......he occasionally asks me to leave a rentmen review and we both know that we have to fake some communication via the rentmen chat messenger system, so we do that for about five seconds.........then I wait a day or two to make it look like there was time for the meet to happen before submitting a rentmen review.......

rentmasseur and rentmen are apparently owned by the same group, so I presume they have similar rules.......

I had to do the same thing with rentmen as well. I saw a provider and it was actually a couple months later before I was a premium member again. I went to leave a review and put down the meeting date as two months prior and it got rejected for being more than two weeks from said meeting. I just waited a week or so and submitted another review fibbing it had been the day before and it got approved. Really makes no sense when you think about it why I couldn't leave a belated review but a provider will have reviews from years and years ago still on his ad.

For me, in their chat, I messaged the masseur that I was going to leave a review, he replied back, I wrote a review and the next day got the notification that it was approved.

Yup.. Must communicate with masseur on the site, which is odd because they allow us to put our email and phone numbers on there for you to contact us directly through that.

Recently (not with the one I saw today), I asked a masseur if I could leave a review ahead of time to get his "reviewed me" discount. He said he'd never been asked that before. I wrote a GLOWING review, and he joked that he really has a lot to live up to, and he VERY MUCH did. I wouldn't make a habit to do this, but it did in turn have him change the wording of his ad!

Thank you for your replies. Didn't know. I'll try the suggestions. The masseur was great in every aspect of the event and he deserves a stellar review.

That policy makes it difficult for the provider to receive a review, and especially makes it difficult for the client to give a bad review since trying to contact the bad masseur after the fact might not be an easy task.

I'm in the habit of first communicating through the site to ask basic questions like rate, availability and location. This would satisfy the monitors' requirement. For privacy, many providers prefer to go off-site when discussions become specific in a sexual way. (Although I feel discussions of sex-for-hire should never be documented by anyone,  anywhere).

If you click the provider's phone number while logged in, that should be enough for approval. Alternatively, you can send a message to the Webmaster with a screenshot of some of your conversation with the provider, and they will publish your review.
