I hear you.  I am very careful budgeting, but your point is well taken.  I'm just having a great time acting on something I kept suppressed my entire life.  I am lucky to have a few regulars that are priced reasonably.

When I was young I was amazed that some men hired me once a week, and sometimes I'd also see them additionally for lunch or coffee or this or that.  Then, in 2012 I found a non-sexual masseur who trained at the same school I did a decade earlier, but is light years ahead of me in skill (though I would say our intuition is about level), and I found myself hiring him nearly weekly until lockdown 8 years later.  And I don't have money, at all.  But, I kinda needed him.  So, what surprised the young me, made complete sense at 40.

It's funny, but "my relationship with money" is probably the only thing that keeps me from doing the same.

My relationship with money is a committed one.

I haven’t hired very much in a while, maybe two legit massages over the past several months. I would really like to do more but have been saving. To economize, I’ve been doing massage trades from time to time, 1:1 with local guys, usually 90 mins each.

A few weeks ago I hosted four other masseurs for a group massage exchange. We shared tips and techniques and enjoyed switching off on one another for 25 mins at a time, rotating out who is getting a massage and who is giving, 1:1 and 2:1 since we had an odd number (5) and space for two tables. All nude of course - purely for practical and efficiency reasons, I assure you 😆.

It was a lot of fun. Good guys.

We all showered together afterwards in my large dual head shower and scrubbed each other down. Yes, we all fit together, even hulking Newell, with space to spare. Truly a big shower! One of these days I’ll have a whole rugby team in there #goals.

@Simon Suraci, that sounds like great fun; and your shower is amazing!  Although I have disposable income, I am happy I live in a massage-and-escort desert so that I am not as tempted to spend the money that I do when I travel to larger cities with greater offerings; there will be a traveling providers here at times, and if my schedule permits and I think it would be a good match, I will schedule, but that does not happen that often.

I hire only for massage.  I have a subscription with Sky's Touch (the photos don't do him justice).  I also wind up getting a second massage from a rotating group of providers every five weeks maybe.  Honestly, I'm worried about becoming a junkie for massage.  I probably think about it too much already.

Precovid it was every couple months when I travelled.   Post covid I think I hired a total of three times and last time was a year in July of last year.   But I haven't been travelling as much and have beenl ucky enough to find guys to meet up with for free when I have been travelling.   I would hire more if there were guys in my area, but Detroit is the nearest city and there just aren't that many guys into the fetishes I'm into

Only one and a half filing cabinets. It covers every day of my life for the past 51 years. But there is also a separate list of every one of my hires, for quick reference.

You never know when a journal will come in handy. Last week I received I letter from an insurance company about an "incident" they claimed had occurred on Mar. 8, 2023, which they said I was financially responsible for;  I had no memory of what they said occurred, and by consulting my journal entry for that date, I was able to correct the company's records with accurate details that absolved me of financial responsibility.

Where I live there is not much of a selection. So once, or maybe twice monthly to get my fix. I’m on a budget and am not great with saving money. If I lived in a gay hotspot city with tons of hot escorts I’m convinced I would go broke pretty quickly.
