captainbuddy Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Imagine you booked a quick trip to Phoenix. You checked some Yelp reviews for the (in)famous gay strip club Dick's Cabaret. You got a great deal on a nonrefundable plane ticket, and a good deal on a nonrefundable hotel room. Then, two days later, you found out Dick's had close. Perhaps for good, but even if it really is "moving," it probably won't reopen in time for your trip. Are there any OTHER places in Phoenix for a fan of male dancers? Are there maybe gay bars with gogo boys, or maybe a straight strip club that has men one night a week? What would you do if you were looking forward to a strip club and it closed right before your trip?

It is a group of male dancers which rotate among the gay bars in Phoenix. You can be sure to know which days they will be dancing at which bars. I cancelled my upcoming trip to Phoenix once I heard Dicks had closed. But Wild Men of the West dancers were where I would have gone o before/after Dicks Chidude and + Just Sayin 2

rvwnsd Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Wild Men of the West perform at Cruisin' Seventh on Saturdays. It is located on Seventh Street just north of Osborn Rd. They perform at Karamba Nightclub (located on McDowell Rd east of 16th Street) on Fridays. You might also want to check out Charlie's on West Camelback Road and North Seventh Avenue. WMotW used to perform here and might still do so. Not sure where you are staying, @captainbuddy, but all three places are within a few miles of one another in Central Phoenix and a couple of miles north of Downtown. All three are a quick Lyft ride from one another. captainbuddy and wallnut 1 1

EZEtoGRU Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I’m just coming out of Cruisin’ 7th bar in Phoenix where they have Wild Men of the West guys dancing in the bar starting at 4:30pm sharp. There were 5 guys… 4 x latinos and 1 x white guy. All between the approx ages of 25-35. All in either a jockstrap or something similar. The place was too packed for me. One of the guys was quite hot. I’m not sure if they have a private dance area there but I would have considered having a lap dance with him. I could only spend an hour there before leaving. I’m seeing Jessica Kirson in town tonight so it was a short visit at Cruisin’. Anyway, I would recommend Cruisin’7th on a Saturday afternoon to see the eye candy gogos. Does anyone know if they have a private dance area there? captainbuddy and + azdr0710 2

She's a lesbian so the crowd is about 75% gay women/men. Lot's of fun. I recommend going to see her. BTW, The Orpheum is beautiful! + azdr0710 1

It is one of 32 Phoenix Points of Pride. Here's the blub from the website: 18. Orpheum Theatre Address: 203 W Adams St Phone: 602-262-7272 Website: orpheumphx.com The once magnificent Orpheum Theatre, built in an elaborate Spanish Baroque style in 1929, was underused and in serious disrepair when the city of Phoenix purchased it in 1984. Shortly thereafter, the Junior League of Phoenix spearheaded a community effort to retain the architectural and historical integrity of the last historic theater in downtown Phoenix and helped place the Orpheum on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. An $11.4 million restoration, funded through city bond funds authorized by Phoenix voters in 1988 and private sector donations, transformed the theater into a technically modern, but architecturally and historically preserved, 1,400-seat venue for performing arts, community and civic events as well as a location for visitor and convention use in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Reopened in January 1997, the Orpheum can accommodate local, regional and national touring productions, performance companies and nonprofit performing arts groups. PS: Bar 1 at 3702 N 16th Street in Phoenix is a great bar. To the best of my knowledge, no dancers but it's got a nice, relaxing vibe. If you happen to be staying in the Biltmore District it's a very short Lyft ride. It's also very close to Downtown and Midtown. PPS: The Anvil, tucked next to and behind a CVS at 2424 E Thomas Rd has amateur go-go dancer nights. EZEtoGRU 1
