cranked my white noise machine (Homedics) to max when I went to bed about 11:30p.....slept right through midnight......that white noise is fantastic.....it sounds like this....

I was in bed (alone) by 11:30pm. Lovely!  It makes 1 January welcome.

I went to the gym this morning which was a great start to the year (although it will get busy there over the next few weeks unfortunately).

NYE is very overrated as a party evening.

Watched some of the Harry Potter movies on tv and then went to bed.  I took the dogs in and closed the door so that they would not go barking into the backyard through the doggie door which is what would have happened due to the fireworks.  Keep a radio on to drown out the fireworks and feel asleep.  AT 2AM, I woke up and said happy new year to my prostate as I tried to coax a reasonable flow.  It seemed to work.

I heard back from the 3 providers whom I wrote to this morning by early afternoon. One I will see later this month, the other two perhaps later in the year as they live farther away.

I decided to tackle a more time-consuming project.  I cleaned my fridge, including taking out all the shelves and drawers.  It took about 2 1/2 hours.
