it's unlikely a gay guy who's sucking dick for a living is carrying a gun in NYC.

Once again you're correct lol Remember we're talking about people who aren't who they claim to be... don't underestimate any THUG and let's not forget how VIOLENT certain places  in NY can be.....

Not in the habit of hiring "thugs" nor hooking up in "the hood".  So I'm good. I can read the room.

Omg.... this post is NOT about a thug fetish it's about people showing up not depicted in the AD

YOU brought up the thugs. I didn't

But it's not unreasonable to consider the possibility of thug fetish going bad and you ending up with actual thug-boys robbing you during a meet. I'm well trained with a pistol and martial arts. So doubting that any one is gonna survive an attack on me.

Therefore I have no problem saying goodbye quickly to a fake

All this violence over money that is discretionary.  How about taking some responsibility for not getting yourself into that situation in the first place.  Meet outside the room and read the room there.  Little chance of violence in a public arena.  Hire well respected and well reviewed escorts.  Ask for a 3 finger selfie or a FaceTime before having someone come to your home.

Saying you would shoot someone in the back for a small amount of money it ridiculous.  How much is too little for you to  shoot?  $100? $59?  $12.74.?   $4.53?   Defending yourself from bodily harm certainly is understandable and in fact being able to do so is commendable.

There is no good name for a man who shoots another in the back.        Shakespeare.  Good name in man and woman, Dear my lord is the immediate jewel of their souls. Who steals my purse steals trash; tis the something, nothing; twas mine, 'tis his and had been slave to thousands; But he that filches from me my good name robs me of the which not enriches him. and makes me poor indeed.

Your suggested crime, and you correctly point out it is a crime in most states, diminishes you forever.  Might as well put a teardrop tattoo over you face.

As much as I'd like to correct your misconception, I'll restrain myself, as you don't need to know that much about me.

With what you have written here on this thread tells me all that I need to know and beyond this post of mine I have zero interest in learning more about you.

His reply was bravado at its worst.  Just fucking idiotic.

And under those circumstances, he'd likely go to jail for murder.

I would.  It's false advertising.   We all know if our appearance has changed  (weight,  looks,  just aging in general,  new photos are in order.    I would use recent photos in any kind of ad.   On RM,   I know I have traded older photos for new ones,   I like a fresh look anyway.

If the client turns away a provider and the latter has used newer photos,  I would make sure there are an assortment,  so there isn't any sort of mishap along these lines.

I have walked out but must admit that in my early days of hiring masseurs, I got misled a few times and was too nervous to leave.  Was ok the handful of times since the massage was good except for one that tried to get too physical. That time I protested and when he kept being pushy I called him out. Got dressed and left. Since then I don’t mess around with any of that tomfoolery. If they are being deceitful with pics I’ll assume they are being deceitful with their skills and training. No go for me.
