when escorts' pics don't match reality

this guy who trains at my gym was on Rentmen years ago, and his add reappeared today, with his old pictures, because narcissism blocked him from using a mirror that works: no longer muscular, now fat.

What about clients who'll see a guy walk in completely different from his rentmen add? reality is that clients are often 60+ and they're not going to get into an argument with the 25+ yr and will pay.

anyone here brave enough to turn away an escort without paying? and if yes how did it go?

Wish I had. Guy I found on RM comes into my hotel room and first thing asks for his money. He was really cute, so I handed him the $200. He tickled my chest for five minutes then got up and left. I cursed at him as he walked out the door, giggling. Told RM about my experience and after a few days his ad was pulled, never to be seen again. Boy I felt stupid. I had had a weird feeling when setting up the appointment but ignored it because the dude was beautiful. Since then I have been more attentive to my hiring gaydar and as of yet have not had a repeat experience. Probably missed out on a few perfectly honest providers, but I never want to experience again that feeling of being screwed with my pants on. Live and learn.

I don't hire a lot of escorts. (More inclined toward massage pros)..but even with them, if the pix are way off, then I'm not going through with the appointment. I understand that everyone uses their best shots and sometimes you find someone lacking those abs or gaining some crows-feet. So I'm not talking about minor differences. But if you're off by ten years and 30 pounds then you're not worthy of anything but the courtesy of the words: "Sorry. This isnt gonna work".

I remember one guy asked me "what's wrong" and I said you're shaped like a pear and you're clearly a liar. The guy was at least 20 years older than his photos and hadn't seen his abs in a decade of eating cake.

Be prepared for drama, because these types are a little mental.

I have walked away a number of times (when I used to hire I preferred going to the escort's place) when the online representation was significantly different than reality.  I had a few dramatic moments, but I think a lot of these guys aren't so delusional that they don't understand why a client would walk away so they just take it in stride.  A few did shout at me as I walked away, though.  I certainly have gone through with more appointments where the guy isn't quite as hot as his photos would suggest but isn't so far from the truth.

Yes walk away is easier, but then what about if the guy is in your house, you're not the one who can walk away

The pear shaped loser was in my house. You tell them to leave and call the police if they don't. Like I said I generally hire for massage...so there's no embarrassment for me to explain why this guy's in my house.

@muscmtl This is CRAZY for 2 reasons... 1. Because of of the scam/deceit and 2. Because I just thought about this YESTERDAY. Every couple of months I see someone in the Hollywood Hills and have for years who actually is "someone in the Hollywood Hills...... "' He says he stopped seeing anybody new and anyone that didn't have loads of reviews on RM.., he says about 5 times he had a man  (!or men ) of the night get to his place that clearly wasn't the fella in the ad and he says they had absolutely zero resemblance of the individual depicted in the ad.... all these guys would demand 150-200 dollars 💸 ! He called it "go away money" it's a scam these thug jack asses use, they have no intention of even pretending to be the depicted individual much less do what was discussed. These people are making money for just  showing up and often just staying 2-3 minutes. I'm not here to give unsolicited advice but I can certainly see why the unnamed no longer sees anyone new without multiple reviews stating that the photos are "accurate"

Props to the ones that slam the door and or say "fuck off" but those that do risk bodily harm and or vandalism which I've also been told stories about. 😕

That would end badly as I maintain an active firearm license. 😉

And you think these guys might not be equally armed or more equipped?????  Now you got a gun fight...  you're correct it wouldn't end well for anyone.

So do I but most are too smart to come after me. I'd prefer the law change so we can shoot burglars in the back.

Recently, an escort (now banned from RM) completely lied about his appearance,  snatched the envelope and ran. He would not have made it out the door if it wasn't for these idiotic laws.

Back in the days before ads had photos, I answered a new ad in Philadelphia for a guy who described himself as "handsome." I went to the address he gave me, and when I walked in, I saw immediately that only his mother would call him "handsome"--and she probably did, and he believed her, but he was quite homely. The limited body description was fairly accurate, but it took only a short verbal interchange for me to realize that he was mentally challenged. I suspected that most potential clients would take one look and walk away, possibly with a harsh comment. I couldn't do that, because to me it would feel like abusing a child, so I went through with the act, although it wasn't easy for me to get physically aroused, although he was very excited by the sex. I was not surprised that the ad didn't stay up long.

Suppose someone scares em off with their "piece" like that's gonna prevent them from vandalizing their property??? I know multiple people that had to involve the police and install surveillance cameras for this very reason.

You'd take a human life for 200-500 bucks? ☹️

We come from different worlds and backgrounds.  I would think you would have figured mine out by now. In my world, you never allow a thief to take your money.

I grew up in Oceanside, California, my man in  a time, and in neighborhoods where Crips and bloods were killing each other. I have a lot of acquaintances that are dead because of gun violence, gang violence, and or, who went to prison.  I was brought up to never let anyone get away with harming me but never did it involve taking a life, especially not for ANY amount of money.

Okay, I'll just hit thieves with a tazer, give them a few whacks with a baseball bat, grab the envelope back, take their cell phone, then kick them out. Happy?

And or...  put em to sleep 😴 and call the cops and tell em this is an intruder... when I'm not traveling 🧳 3-4 days a week I'm applying this form of strangulation for 1.5 hours but among classmates not thugs 😜

I'm not mad at ya brother man 🫂

It's NYC.

Anything possible but it's unlikely a gay guy who's sucking dick for a living is carrying a gun in NYC.

#1 it's VERY difficult to get a license here...so you need to obtain one illegally. #2  Walking around with an illegal unregistered weapon here, is going to land you in jail for a long time. So unless you're a drug dealer...most people don't risk it

You never shoot to kill for a robbery. That's asking for trouble with the courts. Always aim for the thigh, and immediately call the police after you shoot them. Make sure you have the attack on video so you can claim self defense. Cameras are cheap and easy to use today.
