While I didn’t qualify as a sex addict by a few points, she was concerned about my exposure to porn starting at an early age and my hiring of escorts. The reason for these limitations placed by various states is always the same, to protect children. But I ask myself, to protect which children? The ones too young to understand what they're looking at and therefore unlikely to be much affected by it, or the ones who know better and blow past the You Must be 18 or Older warnings and enter anyway? So now the freedom of adults to enjoy legal porn in the privacy of their own homes is made contingent on the sensibilities of children too young to comprehend it or so disregarding of clearly already established prohibitions that rules will not stop them.
