Up-to-date vaccines/boosters provide a lot of mitigation to duration/symptoms, even if they don’t block it completely. Medicare has invested in my preventive steps, and now that I have COVID for the first time, it has also provided treatment at no cost to me. Existing Rx conflicts with Paxlovid got me newer treatment with Lagevrio, which doesn’t interfere.

then it's that much less medicare or advantage has to spend on your other health needs. 

and 7 of the 8 billion people in the world don't have coverage for that expensive a drug. (the US fights to protect PHARMA's patents worldwide).
