Seemed nice enough but personally not pursuing as initial quoted rate was out of my range.

I am not sure how much he quoted for you, and here 500 USD/hour for multi-hours. Very very high end. I feel that a lot of European escorts are asking high rates when they are in US.

I also think that the price tag is not extremely unacceptable if all information is accurate but the 50% deposit policy is.

I certainly get and adhere to it's totally up to individuals to figure out what they feel is mutually agreeable and i think it's an opening bid haha when neither has much information and in this case $550/hr was immediately quoted.
