I've been with a few "straight" guys who were in experimentation mode. They are a difficult lot to figure out. IMO, the less you say the better. These are not normal gay thinkers with whom you can discuss and rationalize feelings. As Jamie21 said, if you break the "spell" in any way, it could all go south and end. Nothing great lasts forever anyway.

The "straight" guys who have selective mutism triggered by dabbling with other guys are the worst. Every one has their own  very specific limits, expect you to read their minds  and bolt the second anything else happens outside of those uncommunicated parameters. I don't miss those early days when I was messing around with them in bookstores.

Sexual experimentation among human beings can get complicated. It's not for rational thinking. IME, these odd occurrences are mostly one-offs. Weird stuff can happen when the lights are low, and a naked body is lying beneath. I'll never forget my first straight guy experience. When I asked him why, he answered, "I'm curious. I have an open mind." He's straight with kids till this day.

I have no proof that anyone's stories on the internet are truthful, but I do have my own peculiar experiences. I've had some surprising shit happen. I stopped trying to figure some of it out long ago.

EH, I think there's a distinction to be made between kinks and orientation. Kinks are often extremely specific (e.g. sucking on painted toenails) to the point it doesn't matter who. Or else they're about some almost external aspect(I would be humiliated if others knew what I let this person do to me) so I've come around  to buying that you can be generally straight and still into a particular activity that is "gay" and vice versa.

I wasn't speaking for myself...I was giving the thought process of someone who gets off on doing things that are "shameful" etc.

There's a great scene in Kronenberg's cult classic film "Crash" where people are turned on by car crashes. Two of the characters were straight men who got so excited by the opportunity to sit inside a vehicle that was involved in a famous car accident and death of a celebrity that they couldn't control their emotions and immediately engaged in full-on gay sex.
