Anyone noticing a drop in massage rates?

After some inflation, noticing a good number of masseurs dropping their rates back down? I think they’re starting to realize that most aren’t willing to pay $200+ for a 60min rub.

I’m seeing the opposite in my city.  We get mostly traveling masseurs.  Average rate is now 180-200.

I haven't seen rates drop, but my regular practitioner says his business here in SF has dropped 50% in last couple of months. He blames layoffs in the tech industry.

In my experience, it's a mixed bag, some are trying to establish $200 as the new norm, but they seem to be getting less business here in central & eastern FL.

I refuse to try these two guys in Tampa because of their $200 rate, and I notice that they are often "available" on rentmasseur.

I noticed the same from guys here in Vegas. Most of the expensive ones show “Available Now” more often. Not saying that it’s a good indicator but it could still say something about who’s getting work and who’s not.

As someone who gets 1-2 (sometimes 3!) massages a month, I have seen very many guys here both local and traveling, and I always ask them, “How’s business going for you?” Lo and behold, the ones who have affordable rates always say, that at the very least it’s been decent; and those with the more expensive rates say it’s been slow since the pandemic and that they wish they get more business. Go figure.

Depends on the location. In NYC a one hour massage is $50 and then a happy ending is an extra $40. The most I spent in NYC was $150 for a good massage and suck hot Asian twink dick. Washington DC is more expensive. The massage will cost at least $100 it seems.

That price better include all kinds of extras! The max price I will pay is usually $200 for 90 minutes (for a two-handed; understandably, a 4-handed will cost more). Any time I've paid more than $200, I've usually regretted it.

I'm seeing a split in the market of the professionally trained/certified keeping the rates more in line with historical rates and the "escorty-based" temporarily dabbling escort/onlyfan/social media focused providers (with masseur profiles),  going way up to see what they can get.

At least half of them have the decency to UNcheck the "Therapeutic" option on their profile.

Although some dont even have an intention of massaging you. I asked one fellow about his therapeutic massage rates and he answered it was $400. I countered that maybe he didn't understand me..I was asking about MASSAGE. He answered that it was all the same rate for one hour.

So I'm guessing his "massage" was going to be a lot of lotion and rubbing his dick in my face. 🙄

Here’s the clues to help you identify the escorts dabbling in massage. Usually at least one or more of these signs means he’s not going to give you a decent massage:

He’s using baby oil. 

None of his pics feature a massage table 

The rate has lots of menu pricing options 

The rate is ‘ask me’.

He’s available within an hour’s notice 

He offers half hour massage 

He needs a picture of you to book a session 

None of those in isolation is a sure thing rub and tug (except baby oil) but 2 or 3 of them means that when you’re on the table (or more likely his bed) after 5 minutes his finger will be up your ass. A proper sensual masseur wouldn’t slip it in until at least 70% of the session time has passed 😉

Haven't noticed much of a decrease in fees but have been receiving texts from providers I met with ages ago (and not since) asking if I'm interested in a session. No complaints about any of them or the sessions I had with them - just surprised by the out-of-the-blue contact.

Huh. I’ve noticed an uptick in solicitations from masseurs as well lately. I’d chalked it up to the lead up to Pride but now I wonder
