What questions do we want to ask for the new review site?

I think you're on the right track with 'less is more' for body hair descriptions. Because it's so relative, I find myself searching for slightly hairy, hairy, and very hairy. Then looking at the pics and making my own judgements on whose level of hair I find attractive.

I don't exactly know how to create it, but I would find it helpful to know if a provider was traveling when a member saw them. If I am going to click on LA because I am visiting there next month, it would be nice to know which providers live there all the time, vs providers who traveled through last month and may or not still be there when I visit.

Will providers who are members here be able to list themselves? Obviously it's not a review per se, but certainly some providers have their links with their signature on here, and it would be another form of advertising for them.

I can certainly say that I have come across providers on here on other platforms, and had no interest in them. However, after hearing their reponses/views here, I have decided, 'if I am ever in X city, I would reach out to see about setting up a session with him.'

To me, the biggest value of this review system will be what you can't learn off the RM website or its reviews. And that's rates and then the free-form comment section that can give you some R-rated details/flavor/color of the experience. I guess we'll need good instructions about what's too explicit and what's not.

I'm assuming this would not be kosher: "John Doe repeatedly rammed his 9-inch-thick dick into my eager hole for half an hour with no mercy while calling me names like slut."

I'm assuming this might pass muster: "John Doe advertises as a top, has lots of stamina and can get verbal. I'd hire him again."

I agree with the initial comment that you need to keep as streamlined as possible. A big question for me would be:

Is this intended to supplement the information from RM, for instance, or totally replace it? Supplementing the information would definitely allow for more streamlining vs. totally replacing. Does that make sense?

Both of those are included in the review itself (not the item record).  :)

That's basically it.  Remember... the free-form comments are available to guests, so we can't get too detailed.

We're not trying to replace Rent.men.  Their "customer" is the escort.  Our "customer" is you.  There might be some overlap of information (especially in the item record itself), but there will absolutely be a lot of unique information.  The reviews themselves are basically fully unique details.

The better way to think about this is to compare it to Daddy's review site.  For example, below is a link to submit a review to Daddy's:

ARCHIVE.COMPANYOFMEN.ORG

When you submitted a review to him, you had to basically answer EVERYTHING on that page.  You had to fill out all of the info about a person even if they already existed on his site.

With this system, the first time a person is added, we have to answer basically sections 1-2 about him.  But that's a one-time thing!  Once it's done, going forward you only have to answer the equivalent of section 3.  You don't even need to do section 4, because we already know who you are and we can even let you put in your site profile info such as "about you".  That hopefully means submitting a review only requires about 25% of the effort it used to take before!

Once we have a good number of our escorts actually in the new database, my hope is it will be a lot easier to have conversations about them and to do reviews.

Technically they could create their own item record.  Anyone can create an item record for any escort.

If the escort is a member of the site itself, I can associate them with their item record.  Doing this will allow them to respond to any review about them.  They won't be able to edit the review and they won't be able to edit the item record itself.  BUT they can post a response to reviews.

This won't be in "phase one", but down the road... reviews submitted ABOUT someone will show up in your site profile.  For escorts, reviews about them could be shown in their profile as well.  I could even do things like create a signature generator, or other things that could be used by the escort or the reviewer.  Lots of possibilities...  I just have to get the core work done first before I start playing with extra bells and whistles.

The item record itself would list a location.  This would be their NORMAL home location.

The review record would also list a location, but that would be specific to the encounter.

The map I talked about for a phase two or location filter would filter the item record (meaning normal home location).

Definitely agree that foreskin status should be included. Something as simple as "Cut or Uncut?".

Also, how about ink status?
A lot of of us who believe that multiple tattoos on an escort's/masseur's body is a deal breaker.
This can also be simple. A question such as:

Tattoos?:

None
A couple
Many
I bathe with squid

Lots of good suggestions here. A few things that I'd like to see considered:

1) Are photos representative of his appearance? I care less about actual age than whether he looks in person much older or different in another way than his photos.
2) Comfort level. Did you feel rushed or in any way unsafe in your meeting?
3) Personality. This is important to me, and I'd love to know if the guy is friendly and personable or a dud. Sometimes I like a little roleplay foreplay, and I'd like to know if he'd be a good fit.

Thanks

I don't know if this is a functionality that is possible, but one frustration to me is when the links are to the RM version that I don't use.  If you prefer the .eu and the link is .com, I have to cut-and-paste the right address.  If users could default to a certain domain, so clicking the provider's name would default to that version, it'd be one frustration removed.

I was going to request "Tattoos" myself, but just saw it mentioned a couple posts up.

Regarding age verification: What if in the Review portion, the submitter put in the Perceived Age? Maybe just a menu of age decades (20s, 30s, 40s, etc). Then some aggregate data shown could become an informal age verification.

Naturally, that aggregation would have to compensate for a review 20 years ago that said they looked like they were in their 30s. 😁

Haven’t seen this in the “Mapping” questions, but mapping for big cities (NY, Chi, LA, etc.) tends to be pretty bad. It’s a long way from Brooklyn to the Upper West Side, or Santa Monica to Glendale, so Mapping that just pins “New York” or LA” is frustratingly unhelpful. I often find myself having to ask “what part of town in general” without implying “stalker”!!

Is there a way to specify the general part of town?

Not sure if it's easy to code, but could use an icon of a house for home location, and of an airplane for non-home location.

Oh, one more request, but it might not be allowable except in a members only area -- during the session, did they cum? 😉  There are many providers that won't. It would be nice to know ahead of time.

He may cum for certain guys and not others. How can we make a prediction? It’s all about the connection

Neighborhood?

Or in the case of large cities like NYC borough?

I think LA could simply have providers listed based primarily on their location.

LA first and next to it Santa Monica

LA / Santa Mónica

LA / Malibú

I know legally they are independent cities but all together.

City & Neighborhood, together, is a good idea. L.A. is 502 square miles!

Just tell him up front that's what you expect and please offer him a tip. He's human. He might get a call after you or not...
