Clients who play game

Recommended Posts

It is a sad but true circumstance that cuts both ways - clients to providers, and providers to clients.

I think some gents get off on the idea of engaging a provider, but have no intention of ever booking. The chat, and possibly unlocked or additional private pics, are enough to get them off. That’s why a number of providers now have some sort of statement about having no time for idle chat, etc..

It is unfortunate, but it is also reality.

Hoping for better, and genuine clients coming your way 🤞🏻

As @BtmBearDadsaid, there are definitely guys that get off more on the idea of communicating than on actually meeting. I used to say “why don’t those guys just watch porn” but porn doesn’t talk back.

you have to get to a point where you acknowledge that this is a thing that happens, identify when it’s happening, and structure your communication accordingly, else you will go crazy.

My two tactics to try to circumvent my time from being wasted by cruel heartless pranksters;

1#

Don't engage with anyone hiding behind a voip, google voice, aka "fake phone number".

2#.

Immediately cross reference the phone number with Mr Number to see if they've been reported previously as a "time waster".

He's only taking you on a journey is you allow him to.  Right about the third text, I'll reply "hit me up when you're ready to play."  If he just has 53 questions that need answering first, I explain that I'll need a Venmo deposit to keep the conversation alive.  If he disappears, there's my time returned to me.

You get to recognise the signs. If his first message is ‘Hey’ or ‘what’s up?’ or similar then 99% chance he’s a time waster. If he sends a dick pic first then 100% he’s a time waster.

Some guys just get off on the fantasy of booking a session, they like to talk about it but never will go through with actually booking. Those conversations get closed down quickly. I’m not running a sex chat line.

I’ll interact with guys who subscribe to my justforfans. But that’s different, they’re subscribing to watch the movies, and I like the feedback, plus it’s part of the deal. But random chats with ‘prospective’ clients? That’s a definite no.

Providers can help cut down on the number of texts.  Don't make us ask you in separate texts where you're located, your rate, etc.  Provide this info upfront.

All of which is provided in the ad, should you read before texting.  Except for the rate which rentmen annoyingly doesn't allow us to post.

Your location, meaning where you are staying, your address.  Where is that provided in ads?

Okay, this is a bit much. Some escorts work from their homes and it's unreasonable to expect them to post their addresses on their profiles. Even if they're staying at a hotel, I dont' think that's reasonable. I do find some guys are more reticent to share their address or they give you a partial one, which I think is a reaction to "no shows," guys showing up high or drunk, and other bad situations.

As they say often in real estate, its "location, location, location."  I have given my thoughts on this before, but here I go again...

In a city that is over a large geographical area, its very helpful to know at least the "general" area of the city an escort is in.  Some areas are either not desirable or just to far to drive at any given time/day or due to distance involved.

I never ask for a specific address unless an appointment has been made.  Then,  of course,  how else would you get there.   Whether is in downtown, midtown, or a suburb can be very helpful in determining whether to be interested and that's not too much to ask to be included in a providers information.  Some escorts do this.

Good point.  I'll be sure to alter my ad to include 399 West 48th Street #12B.

Duh, that’s not what I meant and you know it. You said all the information is readily available in your ads, but I was talking about specific location info when texting during set-up.  Don’t be an ass.

I'm thankful when escorts won't answer a few questions.  It keeps me from wasting my time by hiring the wrong guy.

I often wonder how many "time wasters" aren't time wasters at all.  A little patience goes a long way; it's difficult hiring an escort.  We want to get screwed, but not in the wrong way.

Questions are fine, most can be answered by saying “see my website”. There’s a difference between genuine questions and sex chat.

Wouldn’t it be very obvious?  My questions are not very sexy.

This 100%! 👍🏻

There was a provider here in NYC who has sadly relocated to FL, but in his NYC ad he was very clear that he could host in his place in Astoria. Similarly, a since retired provider noted in his ad that he could host on the UWS, near the safari playground. These location indicators do help - especially in a city like NYC (or London, or Boston, etc.). If a provider is able to host, including something in the ad like “I can host at my place in FiDi, Hell’s Kitchen, UES, Jackson Heights, Greenpoint, Park Slope, Woodlawn, etc.” allows a hobbyist to weigh whether or not to contact from the get go vs getting into a text conversation only to find after some back, and forth nailing down things that the provider is hosting in a sketchy neighbourhood or in the ass end of Queens, practically in Nassau County.

Just my two cents.

Come on, you're being very un-dude. Nothing is fucked here.

(I'm really hoping your username is the movie reference I think it is.)
