Only Fans etiquette

There is a particular pornstar/escort who regularly runs an ad on Rentmen and I am very interested in hiring him.  I am a member of his OnlyFans page.  On more than one occasion he has posted videos so hot I found it 'necessary' to send him a nice tip.  Never once have I received a 'thank you' (or any other acknowledgement) for the tip.  Is this normal?

In a few interviews I've seen with this guy, he seems friendly and down-to-earth. But his lack of simple courtesy to this fan is acting like a red flag to me against hiring him.  Am I being too picky?

Just like with escorts, there is not really any "normal" with the *Fans sites.  Every guy is different.  Some guys will show appreciation and interact with their fans, others just don't.  

Have you ever reached out to him from RM?  His interactions with potential clients may be very different than interactions through the *Fans sites.

Echoing @DynamicUno, gents have very different approaches to OF. Some are very engaged with their subscribers/tippers; others not so much.  It's chaotic over there, especially for gents with lots of subscribers.

So I wouldn't read to much into it all on its own but, if that kind of non-responsiveness extends into other arenas (ie response to booking queries via RMen or specific tipped requests on OF), then your instinct to read it as a redflag might be proven right.

If you expect social grace or simple manners on OF, you're barking up the wrong tree.

That said, if the person is funneling some of their OF base into their escorting business, it's foolish for him to not shoot over a quick 'thanks' if tipped.  

Perhaps for this guy, you need to set the bar lower.

Not at all, I feel the same way in regards people who does not show gratitude or appreciation towards a good act or generous tip, particularly when you have an idea of much most people tip and things of that nature. At the other hand, I don’t want a fake thank you… you know the polite or socially required response but that you can tell doesn’t come from sincerity is as bad as a no thank you. 
 

Having said that, you need to question yourself if being a fan (as opposed to a simple admirer) of this service provider is making you hyper sensitive. If you are serious about fulfilling your fantasy and book his time just do it, otherwise you’ll find yourself orbiting around his Onlyfan only living vicariously through videos.

It is surprising that someone who both escorts and produces OF porn would ignore a person who tipped him.  Seems not very business smart since I assume the majority of subscribers just pay the monthly fee and don't tip.

That being said, it seems like most OF content providers don't interact with fans beyond canned messages sent to all of their current or past subscribers.  I think I've only ever had one actually write a personal reply to me.

To an extent. 

Based solely on my experience: if I send a stand-alone reasonable-to-generous tip via DM, with a specific considerate message attached, the savvier gents do tend to reply. But most other kinds of tipping -- prompted tips on public videos, tips without comment, tips with banal "ur hot" or "i wanna" comments, simple dm video purchases, etc -- do seem to go direct to auto-reply or the slush pile.

2. Don't hire him as a provider (you must assume the behavior will carry over from one area to another)

3. Find another OnlyFans account to follow and drop this one.

I learned an OnlyFans enforced “etiquette” rule recently. The word  “meet” in a private message to a model was not allowed, warned me I couldn’t submit the post. Did a word workaround in the message, the gentleman and I switched to Snapchat and did end up meeting in person.

It honestly depends on the individual content creator and their popularity. If you are subscribed to a creator who has a relatively small fan base than yes you'll most likely get a personal message for a tip. I have received such messages on some occasions. But if you are just one fan in a sea of thousands you most likely aren't to get a personalized message unless you really stand out (ie pay up the wazoo in tips)

I was only half joking. Did you try typing "I would like meating you" or "we can meat"? Some filters are that easy to trick. 

I do not know whether is going to work in OF, but trying is for free.
