I like speedo trunks.  I used to wear speedo racers but they are a little to "racy" at my stage of life.

But the truth is, I'm saying this to myself also. I had given up on revealing swimwear because of self conscious body issues. But I've lost a little weight and gotten back to the gym on a regular basis. People have been telling me I look pretty good - and they're not adding that hateful phrase, "for your age." Not sure if that will inspire me to shop the speedo rack again, but who knows. Summer is still a while away.

I still wear Speedo racers, I guess they are called. I just called them speedos and didn't realize Speedo made trunks as well.

I prefer the speedos as they don't drag in the water as trunks do since I like to do laps.

Once I invited an escort who was extremely well hung to my pool in a private club and he insisted on wearing a pair of shorts. He apparently didn't want to show off his magnificent basket. I'm sure the old ladies would have been impressed.

Even past 60, the idea of going to the beach or swimming with something longer than a speedo makes me cringe. I don't care what others at the beach could think. 

It's a family thing, my father died of a heart attack while swimming in a speedo, he was 75.

I did that once with a football players jock~ He was this hot short, stocky guy with popeye muscles and a big, round, bubble butt~ He had been training late and came into the shower area to rinse off before heading home~

I agree with the sentiment but have sadly discovered that spandex has its limits.

When I’m at a nice European beach, I wear a pair of Vilebrequin briefs, an indulgence from a few years ago.  I also have Speedos, but usually wear boxer trunks that I buy from Nordstrom. One is a Norwegian brand and the other is a pinkish cotton. I’m probably too old for the Speedos, but I’m a workout addict and have a 32” waist, so I guess it works for me.
