Palm Springs in January

Btw, it's unseasonably warm here in Eastern Canada today, about 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

In case you are not aware, the PS city council has just voted to keep all the city's current COVID regulations in place until Jan. 27. That means face masks for all indoor activities as well as proof of vaccination in many venues, including bars and indoor restaurant dining.

My friend Kenny, who frequently posted here, has decided to spend several months in Mexico City until the Spring.

He and his husband own a house in Mexico City and  also in Rancho Mirage.

It certainly is in December. A couple of days ago I had the heater on in December!! Oh wait, you're talking about North America.

It was unseasonably cold here in Palm Springs this morning. It was 37 when I got up.

It got above 37 here in Ontario today and sunny with a stiff breeze. Going to be above freezing most of the next week and no snow on the ground. Very unusual.

Planning on being there! If the weather stays cold I do want to see Joshua Tree before I becomes both hot and fire danger again!

I've only been there in March and April. Great weather at that time. Snow is usually on the mountains still.

That's when I have been there too in two different years and the weather was great but a bit windy, which you notice when the sand blows in your eyes. Lol

Well, today it hit 60 here in my town in Ontario. For us it's absolutely balmy.
