Definitely a case of different strokes for different folks.  Johnnys / LeBoy has been around an awfully long time so it must appeal to a good many people.

So Johnny's was the prior name of the strip club in FTL.  Did not know it had morphed to LeBoy but I do recall the Johnny's  dancers were all kind of young and thin also....

Oh, I'm not saying any of these fellows are UGLY. I'm sure somebody would find one of them to be fuckable.

Just saying the claim of "hottest" is laughable when you are looking at THIS line-up.  If this is what they call "hottest" maybe I could get a job there. 🤔

At least you know it’s not the place for you.

The same can be said for almost anything…. “Miami’s hottest radio station” or “The best car dealership in the world”.  It’s nothing new or unique. I don’t think it’s something the folks at Guinness are out to track.

The place is called LeBoy, for gods' sake. If someone does not like twinks, move on!

Was at LeBoy the other night. Surprised to find that you pay $15 to the house each time you go into the lap dance room.

They must have adopted a similar policy to Boardwalk and now it is busy season with the snowbirds starting to come down.  I think Boardwalk is $20 each time but haven't been there in 2 years.  Last I checked with Johnson's, you pay $20 only once for the night, but I haven't been there since early summer.

Boardwalk was up to $30 each time to enter, but that was back before Covid. I haven't asked since then.

I thought Johnsons was $10 for the wristband for the night. Has it gone up?

Boardwalk, Johnson’s & LeBoy can all be fun - the people watching alone is worth going.
As has been discussed here before - exercise extreme caution w wallet & phone in Boardwalk.  They have a deserved reputation for stealing from customers.

Not a fan of the “lap-dances” tho at any price - just like straight strip clubs it’s the quickest way to separate you & your money with no actual sex.  The fantasy is you can have sex but it will never happen in those places.  I’d only do it as a final check if I was hiring someone from there.

I'm assuming "LeBoy" is a business. If the "back room" is a focus of the establishment, it makes sense that they would want to capitalize on that.$15 is pocket change now. Bills gotta get paid and the owners need to make a.profit on their efforts to.keep you guys entertained.

I am reluctant to get private dances at Boardwalk because of their new entrance fee per dancer policy.  But at Johnson's and LeBoy (when you bought a wrist band that was good for entry with different dancers all night), I found I was more motivated to go back for more private dances to "get my money's worth" from the wrist band purchase.  It's silly, I know, to be motivated by saving a few bucks when I'm going to easily spend a few hundred dollars in a night there.  But the psychological effect of having paid for all night access does something psychologically to encourage multiple dances.

If I was a strip club operator, I would look at supply and demand.  If there was a queue for booths for private dances (like there almost always is at Spunk @ Monster  in New York City) then I would raise the cover charge for each private dance.  If the booths were not at capacity most nights (which has been my experience with Boardwalk and LeBoy) , I would charge only the one fee for an all-night wrist band to encourage patrons to come back for multiple dances the same night.

Seems like your idea would depend on whether the strip club gets a cut for each lap dance or charges the stripper a fee to perform.  Does anyone know if they do, such as half of the lap dance charge - I wonder how they would track that unless the dancer had to pay the club bouncer each time, but I did not notice such at Johnson's.  Or as I heard years ago, the stripper had to pay the club a fee to dance, and the fee went up depending on the day and time they perform.  Perhaps each club has a different policy, like maybe Johnson charges each dancer to a fee when they show up plus the $10 wrist band, while maybe LeBoy does not charge the stripper a fee but then makes it up by a $15 fee each time the customer gets a private dance.

The club gets it's money from selling drinks, which is a very high margin profit.  If I were an owner, I wouldn't focus on also trying to take a cut from the dancers.  The dancers are like the free chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant: they're a loss leader that brings the customers through the front door.

But that's just my opinion.

Intersting to note that Spunk doesn’t operate that way.  They don’t charge for each private dance.  They charge a cover at the door & probably get a % of the drinks sold.  The difference is Spunk doesn’t own the venue at Monster vs Johnsons is a single operator.  Luis Gomez started Spunk years ago doing one night only and he now does several nights of the week at Monster.

A successful nightclub operator knows it’s not good business to make the customers feel like they’d getting ripped off.  New Yorkers would never pay $15 to the house + $20 for each private. That just means whoever pays it has no other good options.

I’m curious if anyone attended the New Year’s Eve bash at LeBoy. Wondering how crowded it might have been, what the cover charge was, and if porn stars were there as advertised.

Was not there but talked to people and saw the social media postings…

Attendance seemed to be on par with last year. No cover (valet parking is paid but free self parking available).  And yes, the porn stars were there.

FLL will become home for me starting in early Feb.

I was at LeBoy last night and found the same thing.  I only had one private lap dance.

Compare that to Johnson's tonight.  Johnson's changes $10 for all night access to private lap dance area.  I partook in private dances with 4 dancers, at different times.

But that's about what I normally expect for the ratio of men I find attractive at each establishment.

I’m considering a mid-March trip to FLL and look forward to checking out these places. Any boutique inns that one would recommend? Doesn’t have to necessarily be gay. A small pool would be ideal. Thanks in advance!
